(☞ ■_■)☞ Callie, '98, she/her, so many fandoms, so little sleep. Basically every post is queued.

Do you ever think about how 1 of the 1st waterbending moves that Katara learns, that she doesn’t come up with herself, is the water whip that she learns from that waterbending scroll, which also happens to be 1 of the final moves that she uses against Azula, using that move to manoeuvre Azula into a place more favourable for Katara??

Do you ever think about how in that same episode that Katara learns that, Sokka tries to steer a boat, and laments how he doesn’t know how, because that boat wasn’t made by The Southern Water Tribe, and then, later, steers an entire Fire Nation war balloon with precision and intent, and knows how to destroy them effectively and efficiently, while also being a co-inventor of the inspiration invention of those Fire Nation war balloons??

Do you ever think about how, when face-to-face with The Avatar in the Avatar State, after repeatedly threatening to imminently kill that Avatar like the other Air Nomads, Ozai’s 1st move is to firebend directly towards Aang’s left side of his face, the exact same spot that Zuko has his scar on??

Do you ever think about how Zuko was challenged to his 1st Angi Kai due to his desire to protect people being unnecessarily put in harms way, and his final Angi Kai was ended due to the same reason??

I hate hate HATE all those 2edgy 4me theories about kids shows. Like Angelica dreaming up the rugrats, or the ed, edd, and eddy children being ghosts, or literally anything that takes a lighthearted and fun kids show and has to turn it into some tragic take of rape or murder or misinformed mental illness. So you know what? From now on I’m gonna do the exact opposite. Every cool grim-dark show is now because of a bunch of children. To get us started: Game of Thrones: A middle-school DnD campaign with the most angry, vindictive DM who has promised to kill everyone’s player characters (and their family) by the end.

The Walking Dead is actually a bunch of kids playing zombie apocalypse in their neighborhood and every time someone “dies,” it’s because their parents called them home for supper.

Breaking Bad is actually just a fanfic the students in Mr. White’s class write about him because no one has any idea what he does with his free time and the running jokes about it got wildly out of hand.

Batman AU where the batfam is an extension of Gotham’s will so they can’t leave the city without taking a piece of it with them

Bruce, ever practical, has a batarang made from a steel piece off the bat signal (not that he’d be able to throw it but it’s a backup nonetheless)

Dick, Jay, and Tim have made it Robin tradition to carry pebbles in their pockets (the justice league has come to associate the soft jingling of rocks with the arrival of the Dark Knight)

Steph finds pretty rocks and quartz to crack open and share with Cassandra- and they cycle through their newest finds (cass does keep a shiny piece of obsidian in her utility belt, it was the first one Steph gave her)

Duke keeps a corner from a road sign in his pouch, the reflective yellow paint matches his theme- (what better representation of the city than perpetual construction)

Damian reverently carries a piece of deep green sea glass from the harbor. The color reminds him of his mother, and he finds the beauty fitting. (The irony that the only way for him to leave his new home is an echo of the reason he’s there in the first place is not lost on him.)

I have more thoughts on this- also thank you to everyone who’s liked and reblogged ily <3

The item they take doesn’t exactly have to have sentimental value- it can be anything random

Early on in his time of knowing the Batman, Clark was perplexed. The man(?) moved like a ghost, melting into shadows or plain disappearing as of on a whim. As he paid more attention, however, there was one thing he noticed as (seemingly) mundane from the Bat. He liked to collect rocks. Every time Clark had come to get Batman for league reasons that took the man (he’s still not completely sure) out of his dwelling, he’d take a few moments to skate a hand across the ground-gentle and searching- until he came up with a rock he deemed just right before nodding and following Clark without a word.

Clark never said anything, too afraid to make Batman hide more of himself after being noticed.(as he was known to do)

there aren’t enough posts going around about the swedish cryptid known as the skvader which is a rabbit with pheasant wings and also a very good boy.

like this one dude just made a fake taxidermy and spread it around as a hoax for a good ass while and it lead to this really cool fantasy creature and i am genuinely dissapointed that it never gets used in anything

Rabbirds, by the amazing @tkingfisher/Ursula Vernon (source).

The lack of skvaders is particularly frustrating when you realize it forms the third point of a wonderful cryptid trifecta.

You got the jackalopes, which are rabbits with antlers.

And you got the wolpertingers, which are rabbits with antlers and wings.

And then… what? Do you escalate? That’s unbalanced, those two rabbit cryptids don’t have the same number of extra things, the wolpertinger is clearly the jackalope But More.

BUT with the skvader on the other side, balance is restored. Antler rabbit, winged rabbit, winged antler rabbit. It’s a classic Venn diagram of imaginary lapine beasts, and it’s only complete if you acknowledge the fucking skvader.

Good thing Ursula’s got our back, at least.

This is a really excellent point and I applaud your advancements in Cryptid Theory.

Gentleman, if I might add:

yes you may add this

I think balance in crypdids is VERY IMPORTANT.

Thinking about Kon’s TTK aura getting bigger as he grows up.

Thinking about how there’s a ~5 foot radius around his body where things are only allowed to move if his subconscious doesn’t think it’s a threat. About him knowing where everything is in that radius. About him moving objects as casually as he would move his own arms.

Thinking about him being able to control how far his aura reaches. About him pulling it in close to his body when he’s in a crowd full of strangers. About him letting it drift free when he’s in a room with people he trusts. About him pushing it out to a range of miles when he needs to fight.

Thinking about his personal space being unusually intimate for Kon. About his friends casually stepping into that aura, knowing exactly how much control he has within it. About people that Kon doesn’t like getting too close to him and getting a shiver up their spine because some instinctive part of them knows that This Is Not Their Space.

Just… thinking about Kon.

If Batman and Spider-Man switched rogues galleries none of their villains would last more than ten minutes against the new enemy

Batman takes down all of Spider-Man’s villains with ruthless efficiency and preparation

Batman’s villains are all like “TAKE ME SERIOUSLY DAMMIT” and Spider-Man is like “No 😜”

The Joker would have an intense hatred for Spider-Man because Spider-Man is actually funny

That was the exact thought process behind this post

In Gotham:

“Riddle me this-”

“I like knock knock jokes better.”

In New York:

Green Goblin is getting his ass beat by 12 orphans in spandex
