Prompt: Persephone and Hades meet and fall in love before they are demanded to separate.

Pairing: Hades x Persephone

A/N: Hey guys! I know it’s been ages since I’ve written on here but I suddenly had the urge to get back to it. No one requested this but I simply love Hades and Persephone so I just started writing. It might be a little long but I really liked what I was doing with it so hopefully you like it too and have a read.

Persephone opened her eyes and found herself very confused. She looked around her and found herself laying on a velvet couch in a dark cave. She couldn’t remember how she got there, the last thing she remembered was running around in a field of flowers she was tending. She could hear her friends giggling through the trees. Persephone had seen a shadow moving through the bushes and she tried to follow. Persephone grimaced and let out a sigh, this was why mother never let her go out, especially on her own. She always got lost. Everyone is probably worried sick.

Blinking her eyes to adjust to the dark lighting, she took a look around the room. Next to her, near the head of her couch, there sat a gold throne with black cushions. The room was big around her and her breath caught in her throat when she saw sitting in the middle of the room was the biggest god she had ever seen. If you could call it a dog. It was massive with three heads and she could see it’s sharp teeth every time it breathed. She was rather thankful that it was peacefully sleeping. She definitely didn’t want to find out what it would do to her if it was awake. 

Slowly, Persephone pushed herself to sit upright on the couch and she froze in her seat when she saw a large, tall dark figure standing over a table, facing away from her, at the end of the room. She could vaguely see different dishes of food on the table and the man was picking a little of everything to put on his own dish. Persephone watched him move with a given grace to his movements and she found that she wasn’t scared. She felt oddly … content and at peace exactly where she was.

Persephone held her breath as the man slowly turned to face her. He lifted his head and gave a slight look of surprise when he saw her. In his hands was a plate of food and glass of water. He didn’t take a step towards her, simply just standing there staring at her as she stared back at him. “Hi,” she whispered but it seemed to echo off the walls.

Greek mythology ModernAU: Eros and Psyche

Psyche is the new rising star model of the industry and her looks and beauty make her an ideal model for magazines and runways. Already booked in many jobs many claim she will surpass Aphrodite. Upon hearing this Aphrodite overcoming with jealousy someone younger than her will take the spotlight, starts convincing many agents to not hire her with many false rumors (unintentionally doing the same her ex husband Hephaestus did) . Psyche doesn't understand why and how she starts losing clients but she's desperate to succeed her dream in the industry.

Eros, son of Aphrodite, is following his mother's footsteps and is a model too. Also he is a successful manager and wants to start his own modelling company. One day he is enchanted by Psyche and wants to hire her. However his mother tries to convince him not to bother with her. He gives it a shot anyway and hires her anonymously with huge amount of money. Psyche in her desperation accepts his offer.

Weeks go buy but she never meets him only on phone and texts they speak. Her sisters staring a rumour that maybe he is a creepy old guy and a pervent. Afraid from this goes to his office only to find out, he is not only the most handsome man but also the son of Aphrodite who hates her. He on the other hand feels betrayed she didn't trust him and tries to move her to another agent. Of course Aphrodite learns about this and with her influence tries to make Psyche's work harder.

Meridian: Kiss of the Beast (1990) / Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)
The last element I needed was the Beast. But this couldn’t be a Buechler puppet or a Dave Allen stop-motion special. In any romantic Beauty and the Beast tale, after all, at some point, well… Beauty bangs the Beast. And it can’t look like a woman humping a marionette (although now that I say that out loud, it gives me an idea for a movie… but I digress!). I needed a costume, a rough, scary, but somehow human-looking and kinda sexy beast.
I called Greg Cannom in Los Angeles. He was at that moment doing effects makeup for Francis Ford Coppola’s new horror flick, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, starring Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder. Yes, big-budget horror was becoming a thing. What chance did I have?
Greg was more than helpful. He told me of a costume that they’d just used on set, Dracula in beast form, hypnotizing and seducing the helpless Lucy. “Charlie,” Greg said, “this thing is perfect. But obviously it belongs to the production. I can’t… ” Greg seemed to be struggling with something. He was moving into the big-budget movies, but his roots were in my world. I let him talk.
“I’ll tell you what I’ll do,” he said finally, as though I’d been twisting his arm. “I will steal the costume, dye it, change its look just enough, and you can use it in your movie.”
“Wow,” I said, waiting for the inevitable other shoe to drop. “Just one condition, though, Charlie,” he said. Here it comes, I thought. “Yeah?”
“You have to bring me there. I gotta see that castle.” Word had gotten out.
Greg got his wish, and I got my sexy beast-man. It was almost certainly the only monster suit in movie history to be featured in two separate roles… and get laid in both. - Charles Band

A bit of “A Monster in Paris” fan art, because I saw a certain cute movie for the first time this week. The friendship that develops between these two is pretty adorable, and I felt it was like he became a sort of big-little brother she rescued and adopted off the streets. :)
