Drawn on a suggestion of @hermystories because there is a very heavy lack of Hermione / Ginny content. She wanted some cute interactions between them, and well, this happened.
The color scheme is very inspired by Chuck Jones cartoons, and the methods by Van Gogh. What a mix !
Ginmione: for anon
“Stop fussing, Hermione, I’m fine,” Ginny pulled her face out of Hermione’s gloved hand, wiping the blood streaming out of her nose onto her sleeve.
Hermione shook her head, moving Ginny’s arm out of the way and carefully fixing her nose with a loud crack that echoed through the dorm. “You’re lucky nothing worse happened. I swear to Merlin, Ginny, you’ve got to stop letting what they say get to you. Leave that sort of thing to Harry.” Hermione said as she summoned a cloth, gently mopping the blood from Ginny’s top lip.
“If you’re not going to stand up for yourself, then I bloody well will.” Ginny retorted. “The things they say, Hermione, how can you stand it?”
Hermione focused on dabbing around Ginny’s nose. “I can’t. But instead of getting myself in detention, I walk away.” She said quietly, and Ginny pushed her hand away and pulled her close, a finger under her chin so the redhead could stare fiercely into her eyes.
“Next time I want you to hex them. I know you think that walking away makes you better, but a detention is more healthy than hiding in your dorm and crying.” Ginny smiled. “Failing that, come and find me. I love you, okay, and even if I’m not allowed to kick their asses, I want to be there.”
Hermione shook her head, smiling despite the tears in her eyes. “Sometimes I wonder if there’s anything in that head of yours.” She said, and Ginny shrugged, winding her hands into Hermione’s hair and kissing her.
Ginny: hey Hermione, let's play 'know me' game.
Hermione: okay. What's your favourite colour?
Ginny: Aeroplane. Are you into girls??
Hermione:....
