this is some time in the future, because at the end of wayward son snowbaz are definitely not ready for this kind of verbal emotion, but i like to think some time in the future they’re more comfortable communicating their affection for each other, once they work things out
I know we all love, live and breathe for chapter 61, but what I really love about it (maybe as much as “And then he kisses me.”) is that in the spanish version it says:
“Estás tan lleno de vida, Simon Snow.
La mía ya es tuya.”
Which literally translates to
“You’re so full of life, Simon Snow.
Mine is already yours.”
And I think that’s beautiful.

I suppose Penny could be considered a main character almost but she's not on the cover so 😂 Featuring my favourite quote from her.
(Also on a slightly different note, I just wanted to draw her because it's so uplifting to have representation like this. When I was growing up, this was totally unheard of and there was nothing like this in any of the books I was reading then. Like literally, I thought Parvati and Padma in Harry Potter was the best we could get. As in, they didn't do much, but at least they weren't walking stereotypes. And at the time, that meant the world to me. So yeah, a badass main-ish character who does way more than simply being the sidekick and also happens to be half Indian? Yes PLEASE.)
i ADORE this take on penny! from her schoolgirl fashion to her glasses to her facial expression! this was a great scene to choose, and you draw so damn well!
