I love the idea that the reason nobody in the audience seems to bat an eye when Huntr/x skydives onto stage or kills a demon in the middle of their audience is because this is just what Huntr/x concerts are like. Demon attacks during Huntr/x concerts happen so often that fans just expect it to happen every few concerts.

What if the public reaction to the finale concert is just "wow, the Huntr/x team really outdid themselves with the special effects this time."

I like the idea that Huntr/x initially debuted as a pretty standard K-Pop girl group, but then a demon attacks one of their early concerts. Imagine how panicked the girls would've been the first time this happens — they're backstage, have just finished their makeup, and holy shit there's a demon in the green room. The girls are simultaneously panicking and hyperfocused on this situation that needs to be dealt with NOW because they're on in five minutes! It's only once the demon is dead that they notice the applause and the stage lights and realize that the fight moved onstage three minutes ago.

Afterwards the concert gets rave reviews for the quality of the special effects and the boldness of their new gimmick. Since Huntr/x was singing during the entirety of the fight (strengthening the Honmoon during a fight by singing in harmony is basic hunter strategy, after all), everyone assumes it was just a part of the performance. The girls are like "Well, if the fans and critics liked it, maybe we should lean into it?"

To this day Celine is baffled that no-one's ever questioned that the girls sometimes slay actual demons in front of a live, recorded audience.

There are several fans who boast about keeping pieces of rubble from that one time when the stage blew up midway through a Huntrix concert (totally wasn't a giant demon that burst out of the ground. definitely just pyrotechnics and lasers and the magic of pratical effects. trust me)

The identity of Huntrix's special effects team must be one of the great mysteries of the k-pop industry. Naturally, they've never publicly revealed the behind-the-scene secrets of how they pull of those effects.

Zoey bursts into the penthouse after visiting her dad in America, arms full of DND books. She excitedly explains that she already convinced Bobby to be their DM, and that she was going to help her girls make their own characters so they could all play.

Rumi struggles with her character for a bit. She wants to be a Tiefling so that she can stay true to herself in the real world, but ultimately decides to be a Tabaxi Bard (definitely not because Mira calls her tiger). Her backstory is light and happy, and she choses the chaotic good nature because "I'm not allowed to cause chaos in real life, let me do it in games." She has resorted to hitting a bad guy on the head with her guitar more than once, and it causes all three girls to break out in giggles every time.

Bobby, just happy to be there, lets them have a chill game. Sure, Mira kidnaps a royal daughter so she can court her, and Zoey keeps trying to flirt with everything despite her having an abysmal charisma score, and poor Rumi struggles with the roleplay, but his girls are smiling and laughing. That's all he needs.

As Rumi gets more comfortable with her marks and her demon half, Zoey and Mira convince her to do a stream with them. Rumi starts out slow, playing Minecraft for the first time with Zoey. The most captured moment on stream is when Zoey dies to lava and Rumi laughs so hard she starts wheezing while Zoey curses in English. As she goes back through the stream later, Zoey realizes that Mira was one of the people to capture it.

Later, Rumi appears on stream with Mira, sitting very still while Mira applies her eyeliner. Mira talks quietly about her new dances and Rumi sometimes interjects with a funny moment from practice that day. Once Mira is done, Rumi checks her eyes in the camera. People watching the stream swear they were blinded by the smile that Rumi gave to Mira when she complimented her work.

Finally, the day comes, and Rumi appears on her own stream. The chat is immediately filled with fans, begging to figure out what the stream is about. Rumi just smiles, puts on some HUNTR/X music, and cooks some comfort food. As she cooks, she starts singing along to the music. The Honmoon suddenly swells, and Rumi is shocked. It turns out, Zoey shouted out Rumi's stream, and a massive audience from America is also watching.

The girls start a weekly cooking stream, with a rotating cast. Rumi cooks comfort food, Mira makes some new recipes, and Zoey kills it while baking. One day, someone pops into the apartment while they stream. Bobby becomes the unofficial fourth member of the stream, and he is the official taste tester of HUNTR/X

Update!

I have now seen Fantastic Four: First Steps (in IMAX) and it was so good omg. Definitely worth the extra money to see it in IMAX. I dare even say it might be better than Superman (I'm gonna go see Superman again with another friend to confirm). Unfortunately, I still think K-Pop Demon Hunters is the best out of all of them. Finally rewatched Zombies 4 too on a TV where I could actually see the Shadyside scenes well. Much better experience.

you'll say something as simple as "no child deserves to be hit" and people will crawl out of the woodwork to explain why they should be allowed to beat a 6 year old for spilling some water

you'll say "i think it's weird that adults literally have control over when children are allowed to use the bathroom" and up pops a teacher to say that when they're not shouting at the kids they teach, they're trying to stop them from hiding in the bathrooms

you'll say "i think children shouldn't be forced to eat food they hate" and here comes someone who feeds their kids plain rice and boiled chicken (while eating a nicely seasoned stirfry) claiming that it's okay actually and kids shouldn't be allowed to taste things

you'll say "i think kids should have bodily autonomy" and in comes someone who pierced their babies ears before it was even 24 hours old, frothing at the mouth because their kid wanted a haircut and thats somehow an insult

children are an oppressed class and everyone should be looking back at their own childhoods and making sure they don't ever make a child feel the same way they felt.
