Yesterday I read that they're making a new HP show (which I don't think is necessary at all) and my friend and I were lamenting reboot culture.

And my friend said instead of that, they should turn ATYD into a show.

I have never agreed with anything faster in my life.

I would also love to see atyd on the screen.... Under different circumstances. I agree that the reboot is absolutely unnecessary but at least they won't fuck up the Marauders.

J.K.R. will be an executive producer so everything that's wrong stays.

And even if this wouldn't be the case, she still gets millions of dollars out of this. I don't want to give them the Marauders, I don't want J.K.R. to make money with something that we created. She doesn't deserve them because these creators, writers, artists, etc. made something that's more beautiful than anything that terf could ever think of.

Also, please don't stream the reboot!!! Stand up for the trans community so the hate can't reach those who'd already met with so many shit in their lives.

Sirius and Regulus have the same tell

As kids their mother ingrained perfect posture into them. They spent hours and hours with her training them to sit and walk and stand “properly”. If she caught them slouching they receive heavy punishment as Walburga Black deemed bad posture an embarrassment. Both boys started Hogwarts with posture that was stiff and painful. 

It was one of the first things Sirius unlearned in a “fuck you” to his parents. He didn’t develop terrible posture like Remus but became the embodiment of relaxed and carefree. In some ways it was worse in his mothers eyes. He’d throw himself over furniture constantly. 

Except when he felt threatened. If Sirius was in a situation where he felt scared or intimidated his posture would snap back to what his mother taught him. In severe situations where people treated him demeaningly or told him he was undeserving of things he actually cared about (ie his friends/being a Gryffindor) he was reminded of his mother and would change his posture on survival instinct. It was a noticeable difference to anyone who spent much time around him. The other Marauders quickly learned that it was a way to figure out if Sirius had been severely upset and often warned them that a panic attack of some form would occur. 

Regulus’ tell was more subtle. At Hogwarts he still had good posture. It was similar to what he was taught but softer and less harsh. Many people couldn’t tell how upset or angry he was when people would insult or sneer at him because for the most part he was indifferent. But his friends would tell you that sometimes, when an insult or snide comment hits a little too close to home, something about Regulus changes. They don’t know what changes but they can tell that he’s incredibly upset or angry. His whole demeure switches with his posture yet only Sirius would be able to recognise what changed. When Regulus looks like that his friends know not to mess with him as any little thing will cause him to snap. Only James (having previous experience with Sirius) is able to know what to say or do to get him to relax again.
