I am really into lots of anime recently :> my favorites of late are hxh, Haikyuu, and yowapeda... I'm still forever love for Gatchaman Crowds, too. I downloaded a lot of stuff that I haven't gotten to just yet... Samurai Flamenco, Space Dandy, Noragami, etc... Taking recommendations, btw. Think I might start with Noragami since it's only 12 episodes.

Hey guys! Cottonfist/Shyrna here! I’m opening commissions for a few dire personal needs at the moment.
I have not had internet access in my own apartment for about 3 months give or take, so my only convenience is going back & forth to friend’s homes to briefly get online for a few hours. My goal is to save up for a modem and to afford a monthly wifi bill. Being on the internet, majority to near all of the people I consider my “emotional support group”, are online. So, for the first week without my constant access I had pitiful severe crying fits. It causes me a great deal of anxiety to be away from my friends online, and you could call it an unhealthy internet obsession, but it’s my only way to feel like I’m ‘in-touch’ with everyone & heathily vent w/o resorting to unhealthy bad habits in desperation of events. Other than that, I’m additionally saving up to move out and get away from toxic people from my past in this area and to start new, at least by next year or so.
Financially, my family has always been in a rut, and right now I finally got employed to my 1st job so opening commissions I’m hoping to double up on income, utilizing the abilities I have confidence in. Even if you can’t commission me, PLEASE reblog/signal boost; my greatfulness towards you would not be able to be expressed.

A - Current OTP. Leorio/Kurapika, Hunter x Hunter. ohh my gosh these two ;_; I wish they had more interaction later in the series; I really love their dynamic, aaaah. Plus, their height difference is so cute... and I really like that the taller+older one is the "healer", and the shorter and younger one is the (vastly) superior fighter, ahaha.
D - First thing contributed to a fandom. Hm. I did some fanart and fic for a while when I was a younger teen, but the first really significant thing I probably did was organizing something I called the "Slashflood" around... 2006, I think? Basically, in the Fire Emblem fandom, myself and a group of people spent a few months writing m/m and f/f fics, and then we posted them all to fanfiction.net on the same day. Fun stuff!
G - First fandom. First real one was Fire Emblem, definitely my introduction! Some of the other stuff I was really into as a youngster was Yu Yu Hakusho, Sailormoon, Digimon Frontiers and Yu-Gi-Oh.
I - Has tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms? Why? SnK/AoT :x Definitely the worst, most awful fandom I have ever seen. So much racism and transphobia, super gross stuff. Not to mention the glorification of some really gross stuff. It's a shame, because there are some great folks, but there are a lot of loud voices that aren't so pleasant :< Same for the dramatical yaoi fandom, ahaha. I've also decided to pretty much stay away from Bioware fandoms entirely. Too scary and serious.
J - A fandom you didn't care/think about until you saw it all over tumblr. That one yaoi game where you totally don't yiff your robot dog-slash-alter ego-slash-twin brother.
P - Invent a random AU for any fandom. Free AU where the real reason Rin hated everyone all those years wasn't because he lost, but because Nagisa slipped him a laxative chocolate as a joke and he got the hershey squirts in the middle of the fateful race and turned the pool into a swamp
S - A headcanon you have. Kurapika totally has a crush on Leorio by the 4th stage of the Hunter Exams and doesn't even realize it. After all the things Kurapika does for Leorio in the 4th stage, it's mutual :B Bonus for Fallout fandom: Craig Boone always, always smells like onions. Nobody is really sure why.

I didn’t have enough time to finish this on Kurapika’s birthday yesterday, but I managed to get it done finally, anyway!
Shingeki no Budget- I mean Kyojin!
1. favorite female character - Mikasa!! She’s a really multifaceted character; she’s been through a lot (lost TWO families, jesus), is a total badass, and really cares for the family she has left (Eren and Armin).
2. favorite male character - I really like Armin ;~; especially since he’s seen as weak but proves himself to everyone; even a lot of the fandom seems to say Armin is worthless, but Armin has saved people’s asses tons of times (most recently, fan favorite Jean, so!)
3. favorite book/season/etc - I guess I’ll just go with favorite manga chapter, and say the one recently where they’re fighting Titans, Jean is unconscious, and Armin is holding his body and defending him. Actually that chapter was kind of really horrific, but Armin my bby ;;
4. favorite episode - Not that I particularly ENJOYED the episode, but when Eren got eaten early in the series I’d had no idea it was going to happen and I just kind of spent 5 minutes going “wtf wtf” over and over, ahaha. other than that, I like the OVA; it was very Hanji-centric and a breath of fresh air when the anime was busy turning into a pile of garbage.
5. favorite cast member - since it’s not live-action I’ll just use this as an excuse to talk about how EXCEEDINGLY GREAT Hanji is. Kodansha really earned my respect by sticking to their guns about Hanji’s gender, and Hanji is just. so great for so many reasons. They’re smart and eccentric, but absolutely a baller that will not hesitate to fuck shit up when necessary, and I love their interactions with everyone, Levi in particular :>
6. my favorite ship - eren/armin omfg… childhood gay babies. I love these two so much, for so many reasons. I could write a book about it LMAo ;; Some of my other favorites are Mikasa/Sasha (so underappreciated!!), Levi/Erwin, and Ymir/Historia :> Jean/Armin can come, too.
7. a character I’d die defending - You don’t even wanna know how many times I’ve gone to bat for Hanji, omg. I actually got this nasty trio of people calling me names and blogging a bunch of derogatory stuff about me for a day, before I’d even watched or read the series, because I had the audacity to point out they were being kind of rude and disrespectful to other fans haha.
8. a character I just can’t sympathize with - the Titan Shifter trio… I’m sorry omg I don’t care about other people liking them, and I know they’re really popular, but it’s really hard for me to feel bad for them at all.
9. a character I grew to love - Erwin! I was kind of neutral about him at first, iirc? but over time he really grew on me, to the point where I was mega distressed about all the foreshadowing with him ahaha.
10. my anti otp - lol omfg I’m honestly afraid to even say it, buuut it’s Levi/Eren. FUN FACT: I actually didn’t mind it at first, to the point that I’d even saved a really well drawn illustration of them, because wow it was gorgeous. I guess it’s a case of “fandom making something terrible”? Even before Levi’s age came to light, it seemed everywhere I turned, the majority of people were focusing on and glorifying the courthouse scene and making it into something really, um, abusive, and/or turning Eren into some googly-eyed moe puppy that just follows Levi mindlessly. Not my thing, not even remotely.

3 - Why I love my best friend. Jean/natural-killer-cyborg is incredible ;_; we've been friends for like 8 years now and have been through a lot together, we've always got each other's backs and he means the world to me ; u;
5 - Piercings I have. I actually don't have any! I got my ears pierced when I was 11, but they closed up.
6 - Favorite band - If I reeeally have to pick, The Protomen. I've seen them live a lot, and their music has really changed my life. I also had a great conversation with The Gambler once that made me cry bigtime. She's an incredible role model for me ; u; I also really like The Megas, and Poets of the Fall.
8 - Top 5 things I would do (with 10 million dollars) - Pay off my medical bills. Get a house for me and my friends. Make sure my parents and friends are taken care of - too many of us struggle. Put a shitload of it away in savings so we can all live happy lives. Then I'd use the rest to help other poor people in need.
9 - Tattoos I want - my friend Jess designed a really incredible OFF tattoo for me; eventually I want to get it on my right bicep when I've beefed up a little. I also want to get a little broken record symbol from hamstonk somewhere - those of you that have known me since 2011 know that getting into the comic literally turned my life around and helped me make some amazing friends, so it means a lot to me, even if I'm not really into it anymore :>
14 - Piercings I want - I wanna get my ears repierced! I'm not sure if I could pull off any others? Maybe a nose piercing, and/or an eyebrow one.
16 - Favorite movie - The Princess Bride. I've loved it since I was a kid; I just never get tired of it.
