@bratty-doll / bratty-doll.tumblr.com

A fanzine is centered around Malik Ishtar (and Yami Marik) from the Yu-Gi-Oh! original series. ♡ It is currently planned to be distributed digitally and for free. STATUS: FINISHED

All the art I did for @bratty-doll 💜💜💜💜

First was a collab piece for @micheladee 's fic, little cheebs for the intro timeline and more babies for @pandabaozi horoscope <33

It was a very successful project, thank you to those who joined us and to those who have downloaded the zine it's full of amazing works 🥳💖 also to my friends and mods, this couldn't have happened without their help and support 🛐🛐

Marik Ishtar On Gods, Love, and Fashion
“The goal of fashion, like any art, is to be, and my goal is to be seen. [ ] My childhood was not an easy one, I survived it. Though the situation may differ from person to person, I know a lot of people understand what it’s like to hide yourself from the rest of the world. Like how Egyptian and Japan impacted my life, so did my childhood. My sister agrees with me. She was my light then. She believed in me when nobody else did and did everything she could to help me. So Inugami is for her, and me. And everyone else who understands. So of course, my biggest project yet will be loud. Colorful in ways the dark is not.”

My piece for @bratty-doll, an interview with Ishtar about his newest, and perhaps greatest, fashion line and its inspiration from family, tradition, and culture titled "Marik Ishtar on Gods, Love, and Fashion."

An exerpt from my fic Step and Repeat, written for the Malik-centric @bratty-doll zine 👑💜

The mods have been amazing throughout the whole process and it’s been a lot of fun working alongside so many talented artists and writers! I’m really excited to see it all come together (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

This zine will be available as a ✨free✨ digital download, so please keep an eye out 👀

Guess who’s risen from the ashes to share something awesome haha

Here’s a little excerpt from “Every Color,” the fic that I’ve written for the upcoming @bratty-doll - a fanzine centered around Malik Ishtar and his varying fashion sensibilities! I wrote the piece in collaboration with @kokonakamelot - a snippet of her art is also featured here :D

The release date is currently TBD, but should be sometime very soon - it will be a free, digital zine, so please go support all the amazing mods, artists and writers who contributed to this great project :)
