Abducting Murphy’s Law - Alternate Ending
aka “I think our boss just decided to take care of us???”
Bob being a concerned and caring boss makes me happy. Dakota gets to try his lasagna recipe, and Cavendish gets to sleep on something other than a filthy couch or a desk for once. Dakota establishes a rivalry with one of Bob’s cats who keeps trying to steal food off his plate, and Bob just finds it all adorable and amusing. He likes having the company.

Dakota goes all-out while Cavendish takes a slightly more subtle approach~
“You see, I’m an adventurer and my partner, Ivor, died on an exploration. So I used the command block to go back and save him. But that means there’s two of me, two Sorens in this time period and only one Ivor, and you can’t do that.”
“You can’t do that?”
“No, it’s simply a massive faux-pas. So I’m sending myself away to an island. I don’t really know what I’m going to find there, except, well... a bunch of other Sorens. This happens more often than you’d think.”

Oh, he fled the zone without a trace before Dedan could retaliate against him. Having been Dedan’s assistant he had access to the card that would allow him to leave, and he took advantage of a specter outbreak to keep Dedan occupied while he left for Zone X.
So I redrew Taylor’s introduction scene! The new one is on the right!
I have to say, I definitely prefer the new one!

MML OC Week Day 7: Pets/Free Day
Given that Diogee is either a very old boy or living in the big farm in the sky by the time Chance is 12, I decided to go with a free day for this one! To draw Chance in my art style! <3
As a side note, Chance does have his own EHML service dog, a golden retriever/corgi mix named Gioeldee.
MML OC Week Day 6: Hero/Villain
Since Chance, by merit of being a Murphy and Dakota’s kid, is naturally a pretty nice kid... for this I had an AU idea: being kidnapped as a toddler and raised by Disastra as her heir of chaos. Chance isn’t particularly nasty, though, even despite Disastra’s upbringing. He’s more of a mischievous villain than anything else. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t capable of doing some major damage when he wants to.
MML OC Week Day 5: Creature Feature
So, for this... vampire Chance! How did he become a vampire?
Well, he suffered a fatal accident due to Murphy’s Law, but thanks to the Drakos’ timely intervention, he was saved... at the cost of becoming a vampire. This will take some adjusting, but he’ll probably be able to adapt!
MML OC Week Day 4: AU
Star Trek AU! Cadet Chance Murphy, a Human-Trill hybrid and temporal anomaly reporter! I don’t have much to elaborate on with this AU except for the fact that I just love drawing trill spots!
I’ll probably save the next mml oc week entry for tomorrow, cause I want to do a little more with it than just a simple doodle.
MML OC Week Day 3: Routine
Being a 12-year old, Chance attends Jefferson County Middle School on weekdays during the school year. (September-June) In the mornings, he typically eats 2 servings of breakfast, before getting dressed and ready for school. The time it takes for him to get to school varies, and sometimes, if Murphy’s Law is particularly vicious, he might not get to school at all.
During the weekends, he is either catching up on homework, hanging out with his friends David and Jaimie, or spending time with his family. Sometimes he tags along with Cavendish and Dakota in their time travel missions, but as a hobby, he likes to play video games. (Well, when Murphy’s Law allows it.)

MML OC Week Day 2: Relationships
Chance has a good relationship with his two birth parents, Dakota and Martin, and he’s also quite close with Brigette. His relationship with Cavendish is also good, but Cavendish often finds himself overwhelmed with the boy.
His relationship with his older brother Milo is perhaps the best, as he’ll often go to him for advice and comfort before any of their parents. He doesn’t have as much of a relationship with Sara, since she went off to college only a couple years after he was born, but they are still on decently friendly terms.
Elliot was his babysitter during much of his early life, following a series of events that endeared the safety czar to the Murphys. He still sees him from time to time as the deputy city safety inspector.
Chance has two close friends at school, Jaimie Carpenter and David Mahlson. For much of his friendship with David, Chance didn’t even know he was Orton’s grandson, but when he found out he was ecstatic. Jaimie often comes to Chance’s defense if others pick on him or ostracize him for Murphy’s Law, and David’s good at helping him with his homework when he’s struggling.
After a sequence of events where he chased her umbrella across town and brought it back to her, Chance seems to have captured the heart of Isabel Drako, the quarter-vampire daughter of Scott and Kyle Drako. Whether or not this crush will become a lasting relationship remains to be seen, but it seems like Chance may return her affections.

MML OC Week Day 1: Introduction
Meet Chance Murphy, the son of Vinnie Dakota and Martin Murphy. He exists in the Poly Murphys AU, and is born when Milo is 13, almost 14. In his canon of “Chance Murphy’s Law”, he’s about 12 years old while Milo is 25.
Being a Dakota and a Murphy, Chance is quite the peppy kid, and much like Dakota, has the tendency to be a bit obsessed with food. One time he even tried to eat his fallen sandwich right off the sidewalk! This has earned him the nickname of “snackpuppy”, since he’s the son of resident “snackhound” Dakota.
Chance is perhaps even friendlier than Milo, and always tries to help whenever Murphy’s Law inconveniences someone. And with his strong determination, when he sets his mind to something, he never gives up on it. When his classmate, Isabel Drako, lost her umbrella, he went all the way across town just to get it back for her.
Since he has to deal with a lot due to Murphy’s Law, Chance doesn’t let much get to him. He’s not a picky eater either. One thing that he greatly dislikes, however, is flan. The texture just doesn’t agree with him.

Also known as: Mr. Block is plagued by memes, calls Brick and Savannah for help, gets a deadpan reaction from Sav and confusion from Brick. He doesn’t know what a may-may is.
