I don't need to explain my art to you, Warren

A hero both on and off the court

I turned off anonymous messages and I’ve noticed a 100% drop in death threats.

Hello tumblr! What utter madness has happened in the months since I last logged on?

Trump now accounts for half of all the country’s impeachments.

Trump is banned from Twitter. Mr. Trump, welcome to tumblr.

I definitely picked my Gloomhaven class way too early without realizing that psychic rat was an option.

I’m not assimilating, I’m just living with a Christian now.

I’m celebrating Christmas for the first time and I didn’t realize grown ass adults had to just keep their presents under a tree and wait for the big day. This is such bullshit, the presents are right there.

Guess who got screenshotted!

(FWIW I don’t really care if Biden goes down, I had him as a default pick but I’m not terribly attached to him. Also Quayle didn’t run in 2000.)

I’m definitely floundering and acting like a fucking dipshit because Biden’s lead in Virginia is currently bigger than Bernie’s in Vermont, which I did not see coming.

Help, I’m floundering so hard.

OH GOD, THE FLOUNDERING, I CAN’T TAKE ANY MORE FLOUNDERING.

Do you think results will be clear enough on election night? I've heard that with so much mail and early voting, it could take days, and the divide between those and in-person voting between republicans and democrats could give reps a bump early on.

95% of early votes will be counted on election day. Florida has already started counted. I don’t think many, if any, key states will be so close that it comes down to the other 5%.

re: being calm about this election, i kind of feel the same way, but i'm not sure what to make of what's likely to happen after? probably we can count on some degree of violence on the public scale, but what happens if he just decides he won't accept the results? does he have the means - with the people who've been enabling him all this time - to continue running roughshod over the 'rules'? like he has been? is it alarmist to be genuinely concerned the election won't matter either way?

He doesn’t get to decide whether or not he leaves office. He doesn’t really break rules so much as he breaks norms, and support for him has limits. When he floated delaying the election McConnell shut him down within a day.

I’m not sure I’ve ever been this calm about an election. It’s so different than 2016, where it seemed like it could turn upside down at any moment (and it did.) It feels a little like 2008, except Biden is ahead by more than Obama was.

I’ve become a board game guy. I ordered Gloomhaven. Seems simple enough.

I’m feeling much more mellow about this election than in 2016. I thought Hillary was going to win, but it still felt so close and fragile the whole time. This election is extremely stable. If Biden loses it will be because of an election theft so massive that there’s really nothing anyone can do about it anyway.

Except, you know, vote.

Vote in such massive numbers that election fraud on the scale the GOP is capable of pulling off won’t change the outcome.

Only by staying home content in the thought that your vote doesn’t matter do they have any hope of another popular vote upset.

Well yeah, but that’s kind of my point, Democrats are at such a huge advantage that it would be impossible to ratfuck by any conventional method.
