You know what? Good on you for figuring yourself out! And if you haven't done so, then it's fantastic that you're trying to. And if you aren't trying to, then don't worry, you'll get there soon. I'm still proud of you. You made it through this year. After everything, you're still here with us. You're still around. And at this point, that may just be enough. I'm proud of you ☺
My knowledge of superhero comics isn't deep so much as it is frustratingly eclectic. Like, I might well completely fail to recognise a character who's been a regular member of the X-Men for thirty years, but if you need somebody to explain from unprompted memory the complete plot of Spanner's Galaxy, I'm your guy.
Can I explain the particulars of the latest retcon to Superman's origin story? No. Can I explain the particulars of how, in the Archie Comics continuity, Adolf Hitler's suicide by gunshot in April of 1945 was canonically caused by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Yes, I can.

Terry Crews coming in with some wisdom
we need terry painting like bob ross on tv everyday
If you need a fantastic example of how judgment stops creativity there are two marvelous books by Peter Reynolds that illustrate this by example:
Ish is the story of a little boy who LOVES to draw.
He’s always scribbling doodles and art on any piece of paper he can get his little hands on… until the day his older brother laughs at his still life drawing of a vase of flowers.
From then on, nothing he draws ever looks right, and he’s starts getting so frustrated and discouraged that he’s ready to give up drawing altogether. Thankfully, his little sister helps him look at his art from a different point of view and he gets to live ishly ever after.
Bonus: The characters are all black Latinos. (Minority representation ftw!)
watching wano and because i am always on my Bullshit i can’t help but love the way zoro genuinely delights in being the dragon to luffy’s big bad. we as the audience know how goofy they are and that their hearts are in the right place, but random civilians don’t, especially when luffy starts bellowing about challenging headliners and zoro just drops into a crouch at the edge of a platform and makes himself comfortable while menacing everyone around them with his eyeballs and his little serial killer smile. and he knows it. because he’s an asshole.
Seeing a post that you know a mutual will like and reblogging it to add enrichment to their dash like giving a tiger in a zoo a cardboard box
Thanks
huh i didn’t realise that was an actual thing

no romance dawn trio! you can’t slay that hard on a wanted poster!
My favorite Zou moment is when everyone yelled "What the fuck" for three whole chapters.
people vaguely saying 'the horrors' as shorthand for 'life problems, don't worry about it' in conversations where the problems are not going to be delved into has got to be one of my favorite new Ways Of Speaking that has emerged. like it's polite and vague and succinct enough for impersonal conversation but also extremely honest. it's very funny. The Horrors. we all know of them.
nightwing being hurt in the field, and over comms he can’t get out what was wrong, nearly in shock, and jason puts on his best batman™️ voice and says “robin, report.”
and it snaps dick out of it enough to say concussion, possible broken ribs, and a gash in his side.
no one talks about it, and then a year later, damian does the same thing to tim
THE WORD FOR 13/4
When it comes to the battles we face, anyone can walk away. It takes no courage to walk away. It’s a lot less painful to turn our backs and leave. We may not have the courage to face up to the enemy. But our God provides a well of strength that we can draw from anytime we need. He gives courage to all who say “I cannot do this alone.”
Jesus assures us that the war won’t be easy but promises us that if we trust in Him He will fight the battle for us and let us share in the victory. Don’t give up. Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. Exodus 14:13
one of my greatest pet peeves in fiction, and it is truly stupid I know, is that no one seems to understand how genuinely hard it is to kill someone via stabbing. stab wounds have a mortality rate of like 5%. especially abdominal stabbing. tv shows and movies show dudes getting stabbed one time in the lower abdomen with a tiny knife and then they fall over. like what did he die of precisely. that man died of Small Knife
okay sorry but my first summer practicing all the stabbing murder cases we saw were like. ridiculously high numbers of stab wounds, for though more for rage reasons than this reason--knives do do more damage than you might think, depending on where they get you. And a coworker and I were talking about how comparatively rare it was to see a fatal with only a single stab wound, and the next day some guy lost it during an argument, whipped around at the person he was arguing with, and slipped a fillet knife directly into the third intercostal, right between the ribs into the heart, and killed the him in minutes. and that's the only single-wound fatal stabbing I've seen.
An old painting I did, inspired by the cover of chapter 571.
Also added Hina in there cause why not XD
for the complete experience
