Just being who I AM, whatever that means, under each tab is a in depth for this DNA ancestry test is my Cuban heritage is listed under the West Indies tab and the, and my Egyptian heritage (25%) is under African because, Egypt is a country on the continent of Africa. These tabs represent the 5 generations back, this is who and what contributed to my genetics makeup.
Now on a different test, it focuses on a chromosome by chromosome makeup, so it breaks down my European ancestry by chromosome fully (not all, posting a small sample below)
So when I say I love and honor all of my ancestors I mean it. My heritage may be more diverse than others, but it all mine.
It’s easy when you have an identical twin. but my brother’s tests are quite similar as well.
Below is listed what can be found in just one of my DNA chromosomes. Italy is always coming through strong, even on my Ancestry DNA I have more Itatian matches. (not listed)
Somethings I didn’t need a genetic test to tell me things like my Italian, Cuban, Egyptian. Navajo Indian, African/ African American and Irish heritage. Peru. and some others countries in my DNA were surprises, either way I’m grateful. I celebrate my ancestors EVERYTIME I love. honor and celebrate myself.
