Debuting at #1 on the Albums Chart, Swift’s first independent release passes Harry Styles for the biggest single week of any album so far in 2022. It is also the biggest single week for any album since the release of her 2017 album Reputation.

Swift also sets a record on the Singles Chart, surpassing Harry Styles for the most singles in the top 10, blocking out the chart with Anti-Hero at #1 and another eight singles. Sam Smith and Kim Petras ruin her shot at a perfect score with last week’s #1, Unholy, at #7. Not content with stopping at the top 10, Swift also holds #11 through to #14.

Swift has been nominated for Best International Artist at the ARIA Awards eight times, winning in 2019 and 2021, and nominated again this year.

Lua, a black transwoman sex worker and musician, was unlawfully incarcerated by the New Jersey State Police.

On Sunday, after singing during a mental breakdown in public, Lua was confronted by police officers. The officers offered to escort Lua home. Given no other option and under duress, Lua agreed to follow the officers. Instead, the officers arrested her and involuntarily incarcerated her in the Paramus Mental Institution. The altercation and subsequent arrest was entirely unprovoked.

Since Monday morning Lua has been assaulted multiple times by other inmates in the Paramus Mental Institution.

She is still currently incarcerated. Her release date is set to be in 3 days. Upon her request, I'm trying to raise money to cover whatever medical expenses accrue during her internment.
