1. Favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! series Oh it is impossible to choose between 2 of them And those are Zexal and Vrains gjdskla The casts for both are the biggest selling point to me omg, while I love the storytelling of Zexal and the focus on persevering, even when it feels impossible, as well as how Vrains talks about mental health and healing, and that it's ok to not be, I definitely find my home with the characters most of all since they're what carry both of those messages and their stories Vrains is the show that brought me back to the TCG, it's what got me to start writing again Zexal is the show that currently fuels me both competitively and creatively, it's the one I love to dissect Takeru and Kaito are both characters I have a heavy connection with, Takeru in his past and what he's overcome, his personality, and then Kaito in his self-imposed isolation because it's just easier than opening up and repeatedly getting pushed down
10. Favorite Duel Monster OH This one is HARD, I cannot pick 1 monster, I have to pick a few so there's a list in here
Ok so we all know me and know that I've been trapped in playing Photon until I die, so I'm gonna purposefully not use any of them except for one and that's Number 90: Galaxy-Eyes Photon Lord I just think he's so cool, love all of the little call backs in his design
BUT some others I'm a huge fan of:
- Silent Magician - she's my WIFE, if I had to pick a singular favorite card ever, it's her honestly, she's been there from the beginning and her cosplay means a lot to me gdsakl
- Mild Turkey - this one is just goofy and me, it's a bowling turkey
- Thunder Dragonhawk - baby's first duel links pop off, duel links really gave me everything and then I went to the TCG and cried bc I never got to be toxic with Colossus gjdaad, god I love Thundra, pls retrain and revive them one day
- Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys - one of the first cards I pulled from a pack, I still have it, I love the lore, I wish this archetype was so much stronger
- Borreload Savage Dragon - gestures vaguely at url and ryoken kogami, dragon link was my first BIG combo heavy deck, it's still my favorite and I will play dragons until I die heart
- Salamangreat Pyro Phoenix - love what it symbolizes for Takeru, unpopular opinion but I love that it's just a phoenix with a suspicious 8pack abs gjdaskl, it's literally a combo of Takeru and Flame
- Captain Carrie, Kashtira Riseheart and Eldlich the Golden Lord - these three share a slot for exactly one reason and that is.... flushed emojis
- Dingirisu, the Orcust of the Evening Star - this card just fucks, I also LOVE all of the dramatic artwork that everyone makes of it
- Drytron Meteonis Draconids - one of the first decks I learned to play back when everyone was playing 35185938509 negate Drytron and I wanted to spread my wings a little outside of Dragon Link, GOD I love this card and the accompanying baby dragon ships, my OC plays Drytron bc I love it so much and galaxy-brained that it can fit in Zexal era since it does what Photon does in the anime(fusion, xyz, and ritual) gdjksjglgdsa
- S-Force Rappa Chiyomaru - SHE'S SO CUTE, I know she's a cop but she literally just defected and is on the run now with Masquerena, they're lesbians

Minor spoilers ahead for Vrains and Zexal gjdaskl
3. Dub or original? Both actually I'm a big fan, I like to have all of the content I can gdjaslk Especially since I love to break characters down, love to have every perspective There's a handful of scenes I prefer in dub and there's some I prefer in sub, I'll still watch both Some English VAs are also incredible talents who deserve the credit for the work they put in to voicing, Ryoken and Go share a VA for example, his range is insane and he's *amazing* as capturing both of them Kaito's English VA is another I'd argue is very talented, he's very good at hiding and tucking in those little hints of emotion
8. Favorite antagonist/villain: OH this one is good So disregarding the rivals who are criminals/antagonists for some of the time either in the beginning or in the end(Kaito, Ryoken, etc), I'd have to say Yubel and Vector are probably tied? I love how well done both of them are in their respective plots, I love the theme of love and how far you'll go in the name of it for Yubel, even when that version of love has become something else with time, something more twisted, they're very complex Vector especially is really fascinating and fun to watch, you love to hate him and you hate to love him WHILE also loving him and his antics, you're watching him commit heinous crimes to everyone and everything, but you're still able to sympathize with him following his history and his last duel
22. Least favorite character oh my god I'm bad at being a hater and there are honestly so few characters that I can actually be like that's my least favorite about
BUT
I CAN COMPLAIN ABOUT BOHMAN FROM VRAINS FOR HOURS
Minor hating but Bohman sucks, he was a HORRIBLE final boss choice for the season he's in, all of his little ~memory side quests~ were just trope after trope to amount to nothing, he had no redeeming qualities except for plot convenience, and his entire arc and the backflipping the show did to keep him relevant is a big part of what made the second season of Vrains rly weird in some parts, I'll say it again even as someone who LOVES Vrains and loves the first half of season 2, I honestly think Bohman is a huge reason why so many people gave up on Vrains after a while

- First impression: I'm the worst so when I first saw her, I was like 😳😳😳 Oh she's gorgeous Her design and color palette both are impeccable I needed to know more about her immediately
- Impression now: Oh my god I love her, I was not disappointed for what we were shown, in fact I'm rage-induced because of how LITTLE we saw her One, her design is SO good, I've considered cosplaying her before omg I love how strong-willed and all business she is, I know it's like trope-y that the one woman is the voice of reason between all of the just unhinged members of the Heartland government but she also gets things done, she's got a coldness to her, I really vibe with her gjdsklaj I'm also so unbelievably salty she only got so much screentime to show off!!!!! Like honestly the Zexal girls were too strong and got shafted too quickly for the plot's sake bc it would be 100 episodes lighter, but Droite especially felt cruel because she was shown to be SO smart and cunning, but she wasn't allowed to show it off more and of course one of the duels where all of her tactics were on full display had to be against the main villain of that season, agh In a perfect world, she put Tron in the hole <3 Also she can just casually fly a helicopter? Sign me UP
- Favorite moment: God, her duel for Gauche is just so touching, genuinely that tag duel is one of my favorites in all of Zexal, and the Spartan city episodes in general are some of my favorite to rewatch anytime I feel like throwing on some Zexal because you see how far the pair of them both come from their backstory, their shared trauma being under Heartland's training, and then also the stress of being put under government operations It's her push that is the first true crack in Alito's hold on him The only thing I'd change is having her win, but it's a yugioh show so we can't have that, aggressive side eyes at gallop
- Idea for a story: I'm a sham and I don't have any ideas for her specifically at the moment BUT I need to find an excuse to put the three of trainees somewhere..........
- Unpopular opinion: I think we all agree she was shafted and underappreciated so I'm not sure omg I guess I as a person am afraid of butterflies and therefore am creeped out by her deck so that's... a thing We're not gonna dissect that today GJSDAKLGJAGK
- Favorite relationship: I LOVE her dynamic with Gauche, I absolutely love them, I love that she went with him and how much he cares about her in return, I love how clearly you can see what they've endured as a pair, like they're the definition of soulmates and that's without giving a romantic context, while I'm also on board with them as a pair, I also love that without needing to label anything, they're just two people who will find a way and will stay together in any lifetime I also like where her and Kaito end up after the fact, I wish they'd somehow squeezed one last private conversation into the Spartan City episodes like in the WDC when she calls him out, but I do love he came around on her and Gauche both and how he recognizes her strengths and her spirit, like even vocally defending her skill to Rio and Ryouga is a huge step for him since the last time we saw Kaito consider Droite, he was relatively in different, because even when he was playing the part of the aloof, distant soldier who didn’t need help, he was watching and taking note of her in his own little gremlin way However I'm also beating Kaito with my bare hands for his initial treatment of her, he literally fumbled the bag
- Favorite headcanon: Oh you KNOW she keeps in contact with Kaito, she'll video call him when she knows he's working long hours in the lab, sometimes to vent about Gauche, sometimes to make sure he's not spending his entire life working
