Calling All Tumblr Poets!
I am looking for 2 dedicated, responsible, and serious poets from the community here to become a poet of their own section in a collection I will be editing together. Each section consists of at least 10 in-depth poems.
Red herrings are the consistent underlining, so I am looking for writers that can convey deep emotions in an abstract way that is also original (so no roses = love kind of cliches).
The writers will be choosing between these abstract pieces for their moodboard. If an image inspires you, apply! And you can write about any emotion or idea you feel as long as there is a semblance of an interconnecting story throughout your section.
We will be brainstorming together on Kik to help each other create characters and themes to articulate your chosen theme, so prepare to create an account if you don’t have one.
This collection will be published, and there will be equal royalties paid to each person who contributes, including myself. There is an established deadline too as well as meeting times where we will have conversations on Kik, so we will be jumping right in.
