I've applied for upwards of 20-30 jobs in the last 3 months and haven't heard back from most of them, despite this my mother insists that I help her with the bills on top of me having to pay for my own phone bill.

guess what y'all. I'm out of fuckin food money again. I've got enough for a few days, so long as I don't have something trigger a binge eating episode, but I'd super appreciate some help. I'm disabled and on food stamps, waiting on disability, and I had oral surgery done recently so my dietary restrictions have changed significantly. I'm on soft foods and liquids until october, when I'll get my dentures made. going to the store is like, a day long event I need to plan for, unless I can get a ride from someone.

My girlfriend and I are homeless trans women who live in a squatter town called Slab City in the Sonora Desert of Southern California.

In Slab City there are no utilities, that means no electrical company, no water company, and definitely no gas company! Everyone has to provide their own for their own camp.

Our propane tank has recently run dry. We cook everything on a propane stove.

We also have a second propane tank that we use to provide our neighboring camps with 1lb tank refills that is pretty empty as well.

It costs $20 for a ride to the gas station and $25 dollars to exchange each tank for a full one.

Neither of us have a regular income, but we're both involved in a project to better our local community. See more here and here.
