Ok but imagine if Will motherfucking Solace went to mortal medical school, like, that would be fuckin HILARIOUS
Will, who has years of experience, seeing the worst imaginable shit there is, having practice and being the little sunny boy he is while being ABSOLUTELY UNBOTHERED with ANY of the shit
They would think he's a psychopath, like, come on XDDDD
And when they see his death-looking emo boyfriend? Hah, serial killers
DPxDC Prompt where Danny, Sam, and Tucker know more about Bruce Wayne's life than they'd ever like to, thanks to Sam being forced to attend several Wayne galas, and overhearing entirely too much gossip from her parents. They know that Bruce Wayne has adopted three sons, all of which have black hair and blue eyes.
When things start to get worse in Amity, they sometimes joke that Danny should be the next Bruce Wayne adoptee. Danny laughs along with the jokes, adding fuel to the fire. One way or another, there's eventually a bet.
It's a stupid thing, sticking his neck out in Gotham to try and get Bruce Wayne to notice and adopt him (when he already has parents…), but Danny's here for the chaos. He's not sure what he'll do if he succeeds, except for maybe fake his death and run like hell.
Only… somewhere along the line, Danny starts to… actually feel welcome and safe.
Of COURSE I gotta' share my Nimona test this #AniMonday ! While I was with BlueSky studios I got to play around with the dragon form she took. It's rough, but a lot of fun. So happy the movie is doing so well. You GOTTA' see it if you haven't yet.
I’m usually pretty flexible about player character backgrounds, but I draw the line at “is secretly Rasputin”. If your character is or has ever been Rasputin, they are not welcome at this table.
@bluebandedagate replied:
is this from experience
I have had a player try to sneak a secret Rasputin into one of my games on three unconnected occasions.
The same player, or three different players with three different Secret Rasputins?
Three different ones, though this was admittedly over the course of thirty years, so it’s not like it was frequent – it’s just weird that it happened thrice.
God, if you gave me one more life I'd live it for my parents. They deserve so much more than this.
And if you gave me a little more bravery, I'd live this one for myself.
it’s almost as if Tolkien knew what he was talking about
It’s almost as if Tolkien personally witnessed one of the bloodiest wars in human history and then used that to fuel his writing.
i hate how you get desensitized to the cool stuff in your WIP if you've been writing it for a long time so when you read back over it you're like "this isn't as cool as i thought :(" but it still is! you just read it too many times
Gotta recirculate this post periodically just cuz
Just don't read the post too many times.
Oh god oh fuck
stop believing that you ran out of time to shape yourself into who you want to be! stop believing that its ruined! stop believing you don’t have potential! you are not a fixed being! you have endless opportunities to grow.
Any time I feel the grip of anxiety that I’m too old or don’t have time to do something with my limited hours after work, I just remember the wisdom of the ancients:
icant even explain why i feel this way about it but this meme, this specific version, just makes me so emotional i love it so so much. its very heartwarming. peace n love on planet earth
I hope Nael knows their poem made me cry
Rebageling again because... what gets me most about this interpretation is the softness. When I read the poem, I read it as exultant and fierce. The tiger within was the tiger burning bright of another poem’s fame. The tiger destroyed his cage, and who knew what next now that he was out.
Here, we’re given an answer. The tiger steps out and is surprised by the soft grass under his feet, delighted, goes wide-eyed with wonder, and leaps into the meadow. Here, the focus isn’t the cage’s destruction, but getting out, being out, so that the last glimpse we’re given is the tiger now tiny (and joyful!) in the distance, surrounded by the wide green expanse of freedom.
