• don’t desperately try to aproach popular bloggers, befriend someone that’s reachable instead
• randomly send nice messages to people on your dash
• tag posts that make you happy/laugh so you can scroll through them whenever you’re feeling shit
• if you see a sad post on your dash, always ask the poster if they’re ok
• compliment others out of the blue
• blacklist anything that makes you uncomfortable
• unfollow blogs if you don’t like their posts anymore, even if they’re friends. they’ll understand.
• keep the fuck away from drama
• know that publicly voicing an opinion has consequences, if you’re not ready to deal with them, talk to mutuals/friends privately instead of making a post
• if you need attention, don’t reblog those askgames, send asks to people/friends instead (askgames are usually disappointing if you’re not a popular blog)
• blog for yourself, not your followers
• you can even install a thing that hides your follower count if you find yourself checking that number too often
• if you get hate, block them and delete it immediately. don’t read it and definitely don’t reread it and most definitely don’t beat yourself up about it
• keep your dash varied, even if your blog is focused on one thing. seeing something different on your dash every once in a while is refreshing.

The first time they had sex, it was after Derek paid Stiles’ rent. The second time was after Derek bought Stiles’ groceries. It wasn’t hard to work out the pattern. Derek hates himself for taking advantage of Stiles and tries to convince him that any form of payment is unnecessary, but he can’t seem to break the cycle.

Stiles thought the Blind Date With a Book trend was a great way to drum up business for his small bookshop. He definitely thought it was a great idea after the hot guy kept returning and buying more blind dates with books.

Derek didn’t know how he kept getting set up on blind dates by his family, or why he kept going on them. The highlight of his night was when the date was over and he could go to the little bookshop in town and buy something to read for the rest of the night. He wanted to read, not date.

Derek and Laura run a pure food store and coffeehouse. There’s this boy Stiles who’s a regular customer. He’s infuriating, of course, but there’s something about him.

Derek goes undercover to expose a drug trafficking ring running inside of a porn studio. What he finds is Stiles.

All Derek wants is one day where he can sleep without worry of being woken by gunfire, without the threat of death hanging over his head. He wants a full stomach and no pain clinging to his bones, no ache in his feet from months of running. He wants a shower, a safe place to put his head. He wants his family, the healing comfort of pack. He’ll never have any of that again.

Derek just needs to find the owner of the stupid name on his wrist so he can finally be happy. He’s damaged goods and he can’t even pronounce the name on his wrist. He’s beginning to think he will be alone forever. That might be ok though, as long as he can keep Stiles in his life, he might just be able to be happy.

Stiles pining after his best friends big brother waiting for the idiot to fall in love with him without some predestined bullshit so that they can live happily ever after, and if they are lucky, have lots and lots of sex. Lots.

Derek is the Uber driver who always seems to be up when Stiles needs a ride home from work.

When the Sheriff said that he wanted to set Stiles up with one of his deputies, Stiles thought he’d be meeting some chubby, doughnut-loving desk sergeant. He definitely wasn’t expecting Officer Hale.

After significant efforts on the Sheriff’s part, Stiles takes Officer Hale on their first date.

There are no more chapters. 22 is the last one. Derek groans in despair. He has to know what happens.

Derek Hale hates libraries.

Derek’s been running and hopes he can find sanctuary in the Stilinski Pack’s territory. The Alpha isn’t the strong sheriff he thought he was, but a sarcastic awkward teenager that Derek finds he kinda hates.

Derek entered the conference room, spotted the table with “M. P. Stilinski” on it, and stopped short.

Oh fuck.

It most definitely was not going to be fine.

Sitting on the other side of the table was the most attractive man Derek had ever seen, with whiskey-colored eyes and pale skin with dark moles speckled across his jawline, moles Derek was very familiar with because he’d spent two hours last night drunk out of his mind and licking them.

The trouble with having the kind of brain that likes to write essays on male circumcision for an Economics class, is that it also likes to turn PowerPoint presentations for Biology into odes on the perfection of notorious bad boy Derek Hale’s backside.

“Who … who am I to wed?”

A small flash of guilt covered the king’s features before he was able to recover. “Your union will join the royal families—joining our family to the Hales.”

Dread and sorrow sunk in Stiles’ stomach as he closed his eyes.

There was only one Hale left unharmed by the great fire that nearly wiped out the entire royal family—the Dread Wolf of Triskelia, Crowned King Derek Hale.

The laws are clear: omegas are required to have an alpha guardian. So when the sheriff gets shot, Derek is roped in to stepping up as Stiles’ temporary alpha while he recovers.

Derek knew it was going to be a bad idea, but he never could have predicted all of the ways that Stiles would end up turning his life upside down.

As Beacon Hills get pounded with foot after foot of snow, single dad Stiles can’t quite keep up with his four year old, his job, and shoveling his driveway. Derek makes his teenage son shovel Stiles’ walk, and that just leads to Derek helping Stiles out with a whole bunch of other tasks. That’s okay with Derek, though, cause any chance to be with Stiles is okay with him.

Beacon Hills has a snow storm. Totally-not-cuddling happens.

Stiles is overworked and stressed out when his flight home gets delayed due to copious amounts of snow. He finds entertainment with one Derek Hale, whom he hasn’t seen since high school but really doesn’t mind getting reacquainted with.

Especially when it turns out Derek is surprisingly hilarious and will reluctantly play snap with him. And can walk on his hands.

Derek finds a young man injured in a ravine on the border of his ranch. That’s strange enough, but the mystery only deepens when the young man wakes up without any memory of what he was doing out there.

With a record-breaking snowstorm on the horizon, threatening a city shutdown for a few days, Stiles gets the bright idea to put an ad up on craigslist for someone to spend his snow days with that would be filled with cuddling, movies, alcohol, and potential makeouts or more.

It’s a joke until someone responds.

The mystery of the absent Hale brother was hardly a mystery at all until he appeared at last, set on taking up residence out in the woods.

Stiles grew up with his bedroom window overlooking Derek’s bedroom, so when he returns home for the holidays he’s surprised to find a stranger in his nerdy neighbour’s bedroom.

Only, he’s not much of a stranger.

It is Derek Hale, the guy who is going to be his new step brother, if the rumours are true.

Stiles is trapped for the holidays in the cabin of a strange man/hermit named Derek. A strangely friendly wolf befriends Stiles during his stay. It’s up to the teenager to find out why Derek has secluded himself from society, what the feelings he’s beginning to have means, and what the connection between the mysterious man and the mysterious black wolf is.

All Derek wants is to get through the lambing season with his body and spirit intact. He had thought that the blizzards would be the main danger, not a highborn omega with beautiful eyes and a stubborn streak.

It isn’t fair that Stiles needs to work Christmas, when his dad is on the other side of the country. Or that his really hot, next door neighbour is around for the holidays as well. Or that there’s a power outage that makes things even worse. Or better.

So naked cuddling with Derek while suffering from hypothermia wasn’t really on Stiles’ to-do list for the week, but neither was that kiss–so who was Stiles to complain?

They’re combating supernatural forces with blunt instruments now. Seems legit. As long as Stiles doesn’t end up getting frostbite, he’s willing to roll with it. Not that his friends have to worry about that. Fucking werewolves.

Where Derek buys a secluded cabin halfway up a mountain, meets a yeti and falls in love with Stiles, but not necessarily in that order.
