It’s very satisfying to write an intersex character with a definite condition. Tsolomon is intersex, and has two things going on. She’s got Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (PAIS) and female Hypogonadism, which gives her a love of masc Au Ra traits (tall, different horn shape, extra horn prongs, scales that cover more of her body and more thickly), as well as taking her fertility. She’s also got nonstandard genitals, with a mutated clitoris that is, functionally, a penis, but also doesn’t ‘function’ like one. It might look like a dick, and she considers it a dick, but it only can get erect and be a pleasure center. The urethra stops a bit into the shaft, she only has dormant internal testes, and her fertility is almost zero. Nobody really cares, at the end of the day, except like. Me. I care. I love my intersex baby girl with her dick. She’s great.
