“I always thought the idea of being free was good, I mean, that’s what I always heard; I’m an American after all, and in spite of the fact that America’s awful, its gotten weird behind all those things, the ideas are still good…I’m for freedom, and I’m for getting high, and those things are just implicit, you don’t have to say it…and now, getting life together, like what to do after the revolution, poet-revolutionary times…If there’s a revolution of any kind, its here, its over, we’ve won, and now what? And that’s what we’re doing, the NOW…either we’ll succeed or we’ll fail miserably and it doesn’t even matter much, its the only game in town.”
