There's something about Wild in the last update that makes me so damn angry at him. Twi told him to stop, why the heck did he just continue teasing him??

Yeah. I have 2 siblings, I don't think my relationship with them is the best, but when they do this kind of thing I get so angry. If I told them to stop, why do they continue teasing

New headcanon I literally made while sleeping

Hilda is an albino poc! her skin is white, she has red eyes, and she dyes her hair and eyebrows violet because it's her favorite color and since it looked great on Ravio she tried it and it was amazing!

At first, she feared the contrast with her pale skin would be too high, but the result was so great she had been using violet for years now, people almost forgot she has dyed hair!

I don't know, and I hope it isn't, I'm ready to delete the post or fix it if someone finds it offensive as the last thing I want to do is writing something offensive :(

That being said, I don't think you're not allowed to like that idea, like... everyone should be allowed to like what they like as long as it isn't hurting the others! I, like you, am not a a person of color, I've been mistaken as albino few times because of my really light skin and photophobia, but I'm not. Anyway, if you find it offensive, I'll fix it asap!

If I made some mistakes in both grammar and meaning, please correct me, I've been in this kind of discussion with people who wanted to be called autistic or people with autism etc (for me both are ok, for someone else nope, and I don't know when I'm offending someone by using one or another?) so yes please please I want to respect everyone as much as possible so correct me if I've written something offensive

How old are exactly the Links?

This is a question that has hunting me since i first read the whole comic, and now with the little info that we got with the Jojo Q&A on the LU discord i tried to put it together and get something more solid

[These are only what i think may be the canon ages! not everything is completly official (except Wind and Wild), this is just the result of a bored me who is trying to have an idea about how to characterize the boys when makes an attempt to write]

Time

Probably around his 30 physically, more exactly maybe 33 or 34?

Warriors

24-25, this makes him the second oldest of the group

Twilight

22-23

Sky

18-19

Hyrule

Around 18

Wild

17, almost 18. Physically around 117

Legend

Here i have my doubts, is more confusing taking in count that we dont have an exact age set on LA, and im not sure if ALBW was after or before the adventure on the island. Let's say that he was around 15-16 when the whole Koholint thing happend, and a year passed since that when ALBW takes place. So, taking this in count, he may be in his 17-18. This takes more force on the panel where Warriors calls him with Wind 'young heroes'

Four

Around 16 or 17 maybe? i dont have very settle what age he might had when FS happend

Wind

13, almost 14 (maybe his birthday is very close on the time of Dawn? party boy???)

This is just my interpretation after the little info and calculating the numbers while bored, you are free of considering this canon or not! thats something that makes it funny, play with the boy's ages

Time was 10 in OoT, and in MM many people put him at 12 years old. I think sone time has passed between oot and mm too, at least the time to befriend Malon and be so close she gifted him Epona in the child timeline. Anyway, let's say Time is about 12 when he comes back from Termina, so Time in LU should be around 32!

Wars is kind of a taboo, we don't know his age in HW but I guess at least 18? This would put him between 24 and 25 years old, damn it looks a little bit too much XD

Twilight was "canonically" 17? Though his age wasn't confirmed as far as I know because Nintendo wanted an adult Link for that game, and in LU he says he was an adult when he had his adventure. A gap between 22 and 25... I'd be more towards 22 tbh, to put him exactly 10 years younger than time :)

Wild... if we consider botw only, then he was already 117 and some months old when he woke up in the shrine, his adventure must have lasted more than one year, so he'd be around 118 to 119, if we consider totk, he would be around 123 to 124.

Sky was 17 when he started his adventure, and considering one year of adventure, and the gap Jojo wrote, he would be around 19/20 in LU.

Legend... Alttp happened when he was a kid, let's say 12 because a 10 year old kid couldn't wield the master sword, and the youngest hero we know is Wind, 12 years old when he held it. After Alttp, we have both the oracles, let's say alttp took one year and the oracles together took another one, so 14 years old when he got lost in the sea and arrived in Koholint. I don't know how to quantify this adventure but even if the dream itself lasted only some days or hours, he had surely taken some time to... decide to travel, buy a boat, and go back to Hyrule only swimming and living on a makeshift raft... I'd put him to be at least 15 after Koholint. Then, we know he come back home and decided to "settle down" in his and his uncle's house, take a break from traveling, and instead deciding to work for the blacksmith. I think more than one year must have passed: his job was a routine for him, Gulley was very close to him, and his trees were healthy and with apples (he surely didn't have time to give them the care they needed, I think he found his trees in a bad shape when he came back from Koholint and spent time bringing them back to a good shape) so let's say he was 17 when he met Ravio and albw happened. One year of adventure, and he's 18, one year between albw and LU, I think Leg is around 19 :D

Hyrule is canonically 16 in Zelda 2, as far as I know, his adventure lasted less than one year? In LU he must be 18 to 19!

Four... in MC he was a kid, so I think no older than 12? I've always headcanoned he was 12 in MC. Now, we know some years have passed between MC and FS, and I don't know if Four did FSA or not. In FS, he's at least 14. If he didn't do FSA, he would be around 16, bit I remember he knows Ganon so FSA must have happened, let's add one year and he should be 17.

Wind is canonically almost 14 :)

Soo back at my thoughts:

Time 32

Wars 24/25

Twi 22/.../25, more towards 22

Sky 19/20

Wild 119 or 124

Legend around 19

Hyrule 18/19

Four around 17

Wind almost 14

Did someone say Minish Cap

Things about the Minish Cap that more people should talk about because it’s adorable and hilarious

  • The Power Braceletes. Makes Minish Four strong enough that he can move things regular sized Four can move. That means Four can canonically throw people around when he's two inches tall. Time's Golden Gauntlets can get dunked on (Only when Four is tiny tho. He doesn't have enhanced strength when he's big. The bracelets were made for Minish so I guess they don't work when he's big lol).
  • His Gust Jar sucked up a ghost. Just slurped it right up. And Four can see spirits too, apparently, because not everyone saw that ghost.
  • Kinstones are fucking weird - they make doorways open, repair fallen trees, create chests, summon ladders, AND OPEN PORTALS? They can also create Golden enemies.
  • Golden enemies are extra hard to kill like in BOTW and they also drop a lot of extra loot. I guess all those Golden enemies in BOTW were spawned from Kinstones too???
  • He has a Grip Ring which helps him climb and his cap can be used like a paraglider. Why does no one ever address this?
  • Four also has Remote Bombs - a Minish inventor living in a mushroom gave them to him.
  • Can use his ocarnia to summon a tiny bird named Zeffa to carry him around. Normal-Sized Four can be carried by a little bird.
  • Din, Nayru and Farore exist in his time. Din is from Holodrum and is a dancer while Nayru is an oracle who comes from Labryanna. Are these the same from Legend's time? Who knows - certainly not the timeline
  • Vaati was a minish. He was Ezlos apprentice.
  • Ezlo is a super talented Minish. He made a cap that grants the wishes of those who wear it. He literally made his own triforce.
  • Hilariously, Zelda is a shoe lover. She is the shoemakers main source of income. That's canon. This princess has a closet full of shoes.
  • Four has fused Kinstones with mysterious walls. Yes, I said walls. Don't ask me how that works.
  • He also fuses kinstones with clouds. Literal clouds. This kid is crazy.
  • Town Picori apparently live in town because they really, really like humans. They used to be Forest Minish but they moved to be closer to the humans 🥺
  • Mountain Minish are not native to the mountain. There are only eight Minish on Mt. Crenel and seven of them are students who chose to follow their master, Melari, when he moved.
  • Apparently Gorons are in short supply during Four's era. They used to live on Mt. Crenel but now they live in a cave because there are so few of them. What happened to them?
  • Clouds are solid? Four walks on them. They aren't floating platforms or anything - it's just straight cloud. Idk man.
  • All kids in Hyrule go to the school in Hyrule Town, including Zelda and Link. Yes, Zelda actually attended a public school. Elementary school fic anyone?
  • Acrobandits. There's not much to them I just like to mention them whenever I can. They're little bandit ducks who stack on top of eachother, what's not to love?
  • Grandpa Smith and King Daltus (Zeldas Father) have a history. Both of them were talented swordsmen back in the day. They were friends and rivals. They even faced each other in the Picori Festival Swordfighting Tournament me year and eventually fought to a draw.
  • Zelda and Four are confirmed to have met through their father and grandfather. They are second generation friends.
  • Zelda is kind of a badass. In the beginning of the game Vaati wins the swordfighting tournament and the thus the right to approach a magically sealed chest with all of Hyrule's evil trapped inside. When he announces his evil intentions to open it the guards try to stop him. He attacks, blowing back the King and all of the Guards. Then he tries to approach the chest. But Dot, instead of fleeing, summons her magic ability and actually squares up like she's going to fight him. In the cutscene she actually approaches him like she and Vaati are in that Jojo Walking Meme. It's great and I love her.
  • This game has a bad ending. In the leadup to the final battle against Vaati, Four has to fight his way up the castle before a bell chimes three times. There is no visible counter or timer but you can actually take too long. If you do, then the bell chimes a final time and you get a small cutscene of Vaati taking Dot's lightforce. So there is actually a way to lose this game without dying.
  • The Lightforce. There is no triforce in this game. The Lightforce is a magical energy that was gifted to the Royal Family by Minish. There is no real description of what it is other than pure magical energy.
  • Two out of the five dungeons Four goes through are Minish sized. The Temple of Droplets and the Forest Temple. The Bosses are a single octorok and one (1) Chu, respectively. Do what you will with that information.
  • For the first part of the game Four uses Smith's Sword, the sword made by his grandfather, until he exchanges it for the White Sword, which he eventually forges into the Four Sword.
  • The Four Sword can break curses. Everyone in the castle gets turned into stone and Four saves them all by charging up his sword and hitting them with a sword beam.
  • Anyone in Four's Era can just buy a pair of Pegasus boot. They aren't dungeon items. (Zelda definitely has a pair)
  • There are Minish-sized on/off switches in a lot of the machine-based enemies in Four's era. Upon realizing this I now have more questions than answers.

if you consider in the Italian version of MC Four and Dot aren't second generation friends but second cousins, the thing gets even more interesting 👀👌

"Good morning, uncle Smith!"

Oh, the little princess Zelda! Have you come here from the castle all alone? The minister will be worried... Here, the language is totally informal. In Italy people use the third person to talk with someone important/professors/ministers etc. Instead, Smith uses a really informal language.

At the end it's Dot that asks Smith for permission to go to the party with Four! Then when Four wakes up and goes downstairs she tells him "Uncle Smith gave us the permission! (to go at the party)

Smith tells them to be careful: "Zelda, remember you're a princess. Both of you, beware of the dangers!"

Not to mention, in the Italian version of MC Hyrule isn't a kingdom but only the town! "Here, we've arrived in Hyrule. (the town!)"

I thought, maybe Smith wanted everyone to call him "uncle"? Nope, people around the town call him "Master Smith". And people use formal language with Dot.

Oh and also, someone states it's been 100 years since the Minish helped the citizens for the first time!

It's possible that she just knows him to such an extent that she considers him an uncle?

I might need to do some research to answer correctly, but I remember people at the castle using "tuo zio Smith" (your uncle Smith) so I'm more towards the idea they're effectively related! I'll be back with a full answer though

I'm so tired of twilight not being over midna in fanfiction. He made one joke about it and comforted someone else by telling him he went through some similar. The Fandom has him just so hung up on her and it's annoying, it's making me hate midna.

Art collab I did with the lovely @shannonallaround! She did the line art, and I did the coloring.

for context, several months ago I had the sudden realization that these two scenes from 06 are mirrors of each other and that both Amy and Rouge know who Sonic and Shadow both really are deep down and know that the choices they will make will be for the better, and that in a way, both Amy and Rouge are there to help ground them back into who Sonic and Shadow really are as individuals, acting as their moral compasses and I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT THEM OK
