maybe you were put on this earth to be tender and loving during a time when you are expected to be cruel and calloused
life goes something like this: you meet the best and the worst of yourself in other people. you come to terms that you are the universe experiencing itself. you get overwhelmed at 3 am being so close to seeing through the veil. you get what you give. and then, the next morning, you do it all over again, all over again, all over again.

“And the universe admires resilience, those who give themselves a fighting chance. Those who are always dreaming at the stars at night and when the morning comes goes on praising the sun for their light with laughter, songs, and dance. Grief is inevitable, but how gifted are those who see it as a moment, a time and a season to cleanse their spirit from everything they haven’t been crying about for so long to prepare themselves for a greater happiness. Heartbreak is a tragedy, but how bright are those with the souls that see it in such a way that they gave themselves the blessing to fall in love without any barriers. My dearest friends, life has placed you on this earth for a reason, which is to be strong, to be spring during the harshest of winters, and to fight for your heart’s light and purpose to exist. Be resilient and know that deep in your heart and mind that whenever you go forward with love and love and love, there will always be a miracle.”
— Juansen Dizon, Resilience
“When I first met you, I felt a kind of contradiction in you. You’re seeking something, but at the same time, you are running away for all you’re worth.”

Chrysalis
We all talk about how beautiful the Butterfly is, and how we must first be the Caterpillar,
But no one talks about the middle,
the Cocoon.
The rapid shifting of energy that happens in the Chrysalis goes unnoticed,
As if the tranquility from the outside camouflages the explosions of worlds on the inside.
Too often we overlook,
The strength it takes to transform.
How beautiful it is to transcend into a metamorphosis,
To let go of every single thing you once were and use it to step into the next phase of being.
I think that I have spent more time in the middle than I have, anywhere else.
Searching, finding, deciding where to put the pieces in this new phase of me,
I’ve burned, learned, hurt, and loved,
The middle is what has made me.
And when I am ready, I will enter the final phase,
But no sooner than that,
I will stay in the middle as long as I need,
For this transformation to be complete.

““Let the oversoul be your guide. Let us learn the revelation that the highest dwells within us. Within us is the soul of the whole. When it breaks through our intellect, it is genius. When it breathes through our will, it is virtue. When it flows through our affections, it is love.” Yes, we are more than we give ourselves credit. We are connected to all that is. We are a microcosm of the universe. In every person there is a spark of the divine.”
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
