(27 - she/they) Hey there! You can call me Bane. This blog is mostly fandom content and silly posts (this blog is sometimes NSFW)

a few days ago bf told me that a couple years ago when he played counterstrike he would respond to dudes getting angry and aggressive and hostile by saying “a kissaroo from me to you” in a slightly goofy friendly voice sort of like the voice you’d associate with a dog muppet.  he said they would absolutely lose their shit every time, insisting things like “i dont want a kissaroo from you!  only tall blonde girls!”.  they always said kissaroo.  i cant stop thinking about this

Just learned these things aren’t usually done outside of US and most of them shocked me so I made this

Some of these are done in one or two other countries, but most are just weird to everyone else and that’s insane

I purposefully said small because I didn’t want the obvious answers like school shootings and non universal healthcare

saw this massive onion bigger than my entire hand in the produce aisle and immediately snatched it up solely to weigh it and a guy across the aisle asked how much it weighed because he was curious as well and when i told him it was two pounds he excitedly was like “it’s like the biggest one i’ve ever seen..” humanity rocks moment. bonding with strangers over giant onion

thankfully i was bold enough to take that step.. had i not arrived he would have never known… always had to wonder.. exactly two pounds btw

This is like that time my kid told me that science was for boys and I was like, “You were literally sitting next to me sitting the organic chemistry review. That’s science. I’m a scientist.”

I never saw an unconscious bias change so fast. Not only was science for girls, but she seemed to think we (as in all girls everywhere) were very generous for allowing boys to participate in it from time to time.
