Farewell and Goodnight

It’s been a long run here on Tumblr for me.  In fact, the vast majority of the decade I spent in my former relationship was catalogued between two iterations of my Tumblr.

But, as I approach age 36 and I’m granted the chance to begin my life over anew, I find it time to bid Tumblr goodbye.

I’m grateful for the many friendships forged through this site over the years.  Truly, I’ve met some fantastic people.  However, since Tumblr implemented the changes to its algorithm, it seemed that fewer and fewer people were seeing my content and responding to it.  

Additionally, I’ve wondered more often than not how many of my nearly 3,000 followers were even human beings at this point.  

And so I arrived at the conclusion that it’s no longer worth maintaining my page and keeping up on the latest content.    

Thank you all for the laughs and smiles you’ve given me over the years.  We’ve shared some lovely memories.  But the time has come to leave and find new horizons.
