I'm a little jealous you got to see so many mishaps, lol. I kind of love when those little things go wrong and you get to see how amazing the cast is in recovering and covering things up so most in the audience can't even tell.
I know right!! It makes the show you're attending feel unique. Obviously with live theatre, it'll never be performed exactly in that way again, but little moments like that just made me think "oh wow this really is all happening in real time."

btw, for you Kober fans who are interested:
Prop Malfunction #1: the hand that's supposed to pass him the mic during Whole Being Dead Thing didn't quite make it up all the way, and the mic fell. He joked about it but otherwise went on with the show.
Prop Malfunction #2: the head didn't pop out of the box during Fright of Their Lives, and he had to reach in and grab it.
Prop Malfunction #3: he wasn't able to ignite Lydia's note during Say My Name. I'm not sure what happened, but for a couple of lines you could see him trying to get it to light before he just gave up and put it in his coat. Because of him making those attempts, he was late pushing back the top of his head (he did it on the line "But first you gotta say my name" instead of "Assassinate!" where it's supposed to be).
He handled all of these issues like a pro and was generally an awesome Beetlejuice! Yes I'm a little bummed about missing Alex, but Kober did a great job and I feel really lucky to have seen him!
thought I was gonna see Will Blum, but instead I received the ultra rare Andrew Kober!!

I started a new island in animal crossing bc I felt like I missed too much and like I never properly utilized my first one. today i got my first campsite visitor.
i want y'all to guess who it was. really. take a guess at who this character is. this very first scripted arrival. guess who the fuck it was.
me tryin to sleep knowing that tomorrow im flying to New York City to see Beetlejuice
me: oh, Beetlejuice Broadway revealed their September playbill, nice! guess that's the one I'll get when I go see it in a couple weeks!

me:
all people in the notes going "let the sea lion stay until it's safe!!" clearly don't know that orcas can and absolutely will capsize that boat to get at their prey. it's a hunting tactic that they frequently use on ice floes. No, they wouldn't eat the person, but she could still get hurt in the crossfire or just drown depending on how far she is from shore. and y'all are out here going "apparently she kicked the poor sea lion off the boat omg why :(((((((" look, I get it, human nature is to want to save the cute prey animal from the predator, but that's not always possible. animals hunt each other. it's circle of life shit. it's not the woman's fault that some fuckin sea lion lured a bunch of chad whales to her boat and put her life in danger too.
What's happening tomorrow?
idk why but my top 3 post images being delightfully tiny raspberries, a screaming possum, and custom daycare attendant dolls really feels like it sums up my personality rn
