Going Ghost- A Coldflash AU
There was nothing really remarkable about Barry. He was an average kid with friends, bullies who relentlessly picked on him, and a strange hobby or two.
Then, everything in his life changed when his parents were murdered by a ghost.
His parents had been ‘ghost hunters’, studying a supernatural dimension through an invention of theirs called a ‘Ghost Portal’. Barry investigated, believing that the ghost escaped through the portal, when something went wrong.
When Barry woke up, he realized he was different. With the help of his best friends, Cisco and Caitlin, he found out that he could walk through walls, turn invisible, fly, and detect ghosts. Because of the portal, Barry had become half ghost.
He decided to use his new powers to stop all of the evil ghosts the portal released and return them to their dimension. He kept his identity a secret, even from his foster family (though Iris found out).
Then, while he was on patrol one day, he was attacked by a ghost hunter with a freeze ray. The hunter wore a mask, so Barry couldn’t tell who he was, but he was determined to bring Barry down…

Cisco: Can’t I just smile because I feel like it?
Iris: Ralph tripped and fell in the parking lot.
