365 Marvel Comics Paper Cut-Out SuperHeroes - One Hero, Every Day, All Year…

Supporting Character Supplemental - Vange Whedon

Evangeline ‘Vange’ Whedon is a lawyer and a member of the Mutant Rights Coalition (or Mutant Rights League). Her ability to shapeshift into a large, dragon-like creature is triggered when she comes in contact with blood.  Whedon used to be a highly successful prosecutor until she was outd as a Mutant.  This resulted in her being  fired from her law firm, evicted from her apartment and disowned by her family.

Determined to put her life back together, Whedon began her own firm focusing on defending the legal rights of Mutants and starting the Mutant Rights League.  When the X-Men Bishop and Sage were being held in police custody, Whedon staged a protest for their release. While Whedon was talking to Detective Cardones, a human struck the detective with a brick. The blood from the wound dripped on to Whedon, and caused her to shapeshift involuntarily. She transformed into a beast that resembled a dragon, and was out of control. Sage was able to stop Vange momentarily, while Bishop calmed her down enough to revert to her human form.

Evangeline was called to Los Angeles when the X-Men needed legal help. Evangeline succeeded in getting Marie D'Ancanto, an anti-mutant terrorist given a second chance by the X-Men, under probation and hired her as an assistant. Evangeline also helped the X-Men against a lawyer secretly working for the psychic mutant Elias Bogan.  Some time later, Whedon again aided the X-Men, successfully petitioning the emancipation of the young Mutant known as Teon.

Vange Whedon first appeared in X-Treme X-Men #21 (2003.

I think this might be a reference

My Girlfriend: That’s your keen mind at work babe

Connecting those dots

Folk getting mad at the She-Hulk twerking scene, saying it’s the low-point of the MCU despite it being a comedy series, when Tony Stark peeing himself in front of a crowd of people and then announcing it to them afters exists.

Also the first two Guardians of the Galaxy Movies literally began with a main character dancing through the opening credits

Anyway it was funny and big, green lady can do as she please

YES TO  BOTH :D

Scene Stealer Megan and She-Hulk can and should twerk as much as they want 👀👀👀

<3 Jen Walters saying “I would kill for you Megan Thee Stallion” is more iconic than “I am Iron Man” coud ever hope to be and Tony Stark can die mad about it

Again I mean <3

I’d be curious about a DS9 follow-up, considering it was in many ways ahead of its time when it originally debuted, so seeing where the characters some 20 years later could be fun!

Quark we already seem to know, considering Lower Decks and Picard seem to suggest that he’s franchised out and is the lighter-shade of grey big corporate bloke the heroes and turn to at a pinch, and I think that Jake Sisko sold the license to his family’s name to open a restaurant chain apparently while his dad became a space god? Not sure about the rest.

They’d need to get everyone who is still alive back, including Avery Brooks, especially after Rene and Aron passed. And it honestly would need the original writing team cause I don’t trust anyone else to know how to use those characters to their proper potential. I don’t want DS9 to just become a corporate effort for more profits, is what I’m saying. It is still the most relevant Trek to date and I don’t want that legacy harmed. It means too much to me, and I know it means even more to other because of how Avery Brooks worked his ass off to show a positive black father-son relationship on the show when such a thing was hard to do cause of white execs.

<3 YE <3

I agree with this, they would need to do it right or not do it at all <3

Marceline here is literally me when my gf asks for me to read her stuff that I’m working on

Some part of my brain is forever like “She’ll think its stupid and then she’ll think I’m stupid” and I hate that part of my brain but its there and I can’t shut it up

This sounds neat but on the other hand I was hoping the subplot with the Rogues would run longer because I crave rogue content

Because they are some of my fave DC villains, second only to Wonder Woman’s rogues gallery
