Hello,

I haven’t been on this site in quite a while but I just wanted to stop by to let people here know about this book of poems I made with Claire and Maro

the first inklings of this book were born on here, so it seemed appropriate I share its finished incarnation with you here

it’s $7 on amazon (if you would like a copy and can’t afford this send me a message)

Hope all is well in all your cool lives.

sunglasses are good cause nobody will see your eyes dart to their cute dogs but be careful though cause the big dumb grin is a dead giveaway. July, 10, 2015

you ever look at an unpeeled fruit and wonder if it's even worth it and you peel it and it is that's it

I accumulated the things I’ve said into a microphone in my spare time over the past couple years into a spoken word album and now here it is on bandcamp for you to listen to or buy or ignore or press play on and then mute your computer to spite me or really anything at all

whatever you choose to do with it I hope you are enjoying yourself!

the highest sign of success in life is how much your kitchen trash resembles classic cartoon trash

We’re finding ourselves in need of contributors with schizophrenia.

There are various novels featuring characters with this condition that we’d love to review on Disability in Kidlit. As our policy requires all reviews and articles regarding specific conditions to be written by contributors that share that condition, we’re putting out a call for reviewers with schizophrenia.

As most of the characters in these novels are diagnosed and undergoing treatment, we would prefer contributors to have been diagnosed and–at least at some point–experienced therapy/medication, so that they can speak to the portrayal of those specific experiences.

If you’d like to contribute, we’d ask you to write a review between 500 and 2000 words about the portrayal of schizophrenia in a middle grade or young adult novel. We’d agree on this title together, and we’d attempt to arrange a review copy for you. At the moment, we don’t work with strict deadlines, so you should have plenty of time.

Whether you’d like to send in one review and then never again, or whether you’re excited about what we do and want to send in multiple reviews or articles: we’d love to have you.

If you’re interested or would like more information, please email us at team@disabilityinkidlit.com.

Signal boosts are appreciated.
