steven has normal dreams for once, imagining the fabled unconditional love from a mom… good thing he has that in real life, too. thank you SU, the complicated stories you told about all sorts of families hit hard.

Things from the SU Future trailer that make me emo:
- Sadie sitting with a mysterious new character… 👀
- Spinel present and with an unchanged design except that the marks on her face that looked like tear stains are no longer present
- On Bismuth’s debut episode, she asked about “Biggs, Crazy Lace, [and] Snowflake”. They are all (if we assume Crazy Lace is that one fusion in the middle of the other two gems, which is… extremely likely) standing there alongside the rest of the crystal gems in the opening trailer :’)
- Steven can drive which means he could now INDEPENDENTLY own Kevin in drag racing if he so wishes
- It’s been approximately five years in the show’s timeline from start to finish and Sour Cream is probably like 23 and still wearing tripp pants. Good for him! :)
