I’ve said this for years. I don’t do resolutions. At least not really. Never stack the deck against yourself that early in the year. That way lies madness.
What I “DO” do is resolve to do what everyone “should” be able to do.
Just try to suck less in the new year.
Even at my worst, even at my most broken, I can always manage that.
Life might be a mess, might be great. But if you can come out a smidge ahead, you’re still doing well.
2018 was eehhhhhhhhhhh? It might have been better on paper then 2017, but it was packed with frustration for a lot of my friends and family.
That said, year killed the Super Best Friends channel, so let’s set this bitch on fire!
I hope this coming year is better for us all. I believe in you. I’m going to try to believe in myself and hopefully we’ll all try to believe in each other. Do your best, and I will try my hardest to do the same.

Two eventually unused early versions of the Kamen Rider X costume.
The one on the left is almost the final suit just with a much tighter, shinier material for the base while the one on the right is quite a bit different with mismatched glove and boot colors and a tight, blue base suit. This one was apparently based on Shotaro Ishinomori’s design sketches and was the first try at the costume in live action form.
The right image also helps clear up the mystery of where the gloves and boots came from for this image I’ve discussed before:
Though the undersuit there is very clearly closer to the final design, as is the belt (save for the weird silver holster on the side).
