Stuff for Art Fight, part 2!
Another 2 weeks of 1draw - 1 hour each, no more than 10 minutes overtime if I really need it
I don't understand my drawing speed tbh I'm not sure why I run out of time sometimes and not other times...also, my sense of scale is still ???
I found a 1 hour draw challenge for backgrounds/environments on Twitter! All of these except for the last one are in chronological order and were done in 1 hour each. The sunken ship one was today's. I never actually posted any of them under the hashtag since I'm too terrified to, but it's here (v quality tag tbh).
The last one was done as a late job since I skipped that day's theme to play Minecraft...as a sort of deterrent for skipping any theme I've decided I"ll still draw it anyway but work on it for maybe a couple of days.
I'm still struggling with coming up with compositions but I'm getting a feel for what I can accomplish in an hour and how much detail I should hope to achieve...going to keep working towards reaching a high enough level of satisfaction to post!!
Happy year of the sheep! I've been meaning to fanart my favourite Vocaloid song for ages but never got down to it until now.
This year's art resolution is to make rendering environments/backgrounds second nature!! I love looking at places so I want to get good at drawing them too. (I feel like I make this resolution every year...)
I feel like I should resolve to post more often, but posting makes me feel too self-conscious to maintain any sort of consistency...

If you can identify this place on the Hoenn map (the old one; not sure if the new one is similar) you're amazing, this was the place that left the biggest impression on me in the old games In other news I have Ruby now ^o^

loosely based on palette #8 on the palette meme that's been going around, just because I reread a series I sorely missed in 3 days and it was a bad idea maybe I'll draw something better someday when it's not 6am...~1 hour for both of these together
Did some digging because I was looking up some old character info and pulled up my sketchbooks from 2005-2009 ^o^ From left to right: 2005, 2007, 2014 (today).
I find it really funny how I used to draw high noses then they slowly dropped lower and lower until around 2011-2012 when I realised they looked weird, then they went up again...

Universes up until ??? (still unnamed) are arranged in chronological order of creation, though characters are not chronologically arranged. Between those that I still haven't drawn, those that I haven't settled on the designs for yet, those that I don't really want to work out designs for (Bluebird's still missing half the characters...) and those that I've totally forgotten about, there are probably about 40% of my characters not on this list...................not counting those with alternate forms/costumes Only about 2 characters in WE weren't designed by me so it makes a nice character design record...

April Fool's is over in my timezone so I thought I'd um...SAY OUTRIGHT THAT IT WAS A JOKE...I didn't expect so many people to take it seriously I feel kind of bad but nO REGRETS
This is the largest response I've ever had for an April Fool's joke/activity/whatever so I'm really happy...!! Especially since it's about an original game featuring our characters. The interest means a lot to me, it's really motivational - we've talked about potentially making games before but never got off our butts to do anything heh.

After a year of hard work and secret discussions!! We're finally done with the first instalment of the WE series!!! It's the first time we're making a game so there are tons of things that can be improved on BUT I HOPE WE CAN DO THAT BETTER NEXT TIME. I'd appreciate suggestions and feedback! Also bug reports! Sometimes I feel like I should upload more except this is more quality than 90% of my doodles, and 90% of what I draw (which is not that much these days) are doodles, so there isn't anything worth uploading..................................
