Hi, I’m glad you liked it! I don’t have much helpful advice to offer sadly, a lot of what I do is just a whole lot of guesswork. Nothing but trial and error until something eventually works out. So in that sense I’m still VERY much an amateur artist too.
The most I can recommend is to use reference for absolutely everything!! Seriously, references all the way! and just study all artists that you admire and try to adopt certain techniques from them. That’s mainly what helped me get to where I am now and I still do it to this day.
I’m rly sorry, I know that wasn’t as useful as you probably hoped it would be, but truth is I’m still learning a lot about how art works myself. I wish I could help more. Thanks for the ask anyway and for the ko-fi donation, I had a blast drawing Baby 5 for the first time.
