BLM & Stop Asian Hate

This is to white people and non black and non Asian people. Please listen to me when I say this:

BLACK LIVE MATTER and STOP ASIAN HATE are NOT a trend. 

To the Black people and Asian People:

As a black person I don’t want to see these moments to be treated as a trend. BLM was treated as such in Summer of 2020 and SAH shouldn’t be the next one. Both of these groups have a lot in common than we think we do. Asian women and black women & men get hypersexualize to the point where r*** and murder can happen to us. Asian men and black women get demasuclized and hypermasuclized where people who assaulted us don’t care how we feel after. Even if we have overlapping issues, they are also dfferent in a historical and real life context.

Look I can’t speak on Asian issues but I can speak to other Black people and tell us that our Asian brothers and sister are not the enemy. But as Black person I also ask the Asian community to talk about the anti blackness and privileges y’all have going on in y’all community. The faster we unlearn these terrible bias about each other, the faster we can go back to a time where Black people and Asian people stood together. We stood together before and we can do it again. I do stand for Asian community. Again Black people can not speak for y’alls issues (we are not spokes people for other groups) but we can stand with the Asian community and talk about any bias that black people may have about Asian people, if you can stand with us and talk about the anti blackness and (privileges y’all have) happening in the Asian community. We can stand together, so lets do it!

Once again, BLM and Stop AAPI Hate are NOT trends and we will not be silence no more.

This is definitely on purpose - the white packaging with colored dots is specifically Wonder Bread brand. The normallest case scenario is that Wonder Bread paid them for product placement. The more likely scenario is that the animators wanted to put in a hilarious niche joke as animators often do. The weirdest case scenario is that the dude with the fetish paid off someone to do this.

Just the implication of the possibility of the wonder bread person paying for this to happen in a broadcasted kids’ cartoon show is hilarious to me.

I somehow just realized I have never in my entire life seen a panda this clearly? Any image or video I can recall was usually lit starker so you couldn’t easily make out the eyes and the panda was kind of facing down or off to the side. This is the first time I’ve really been aware of them like, having a real face like a real animal and not a cartoonish abstract mass of sad fur.
