my friends have a cat who self identifies as a "boy" and uses he/him pronouns

we know this because he is owned by two lesbians who don't have very many he/him friends, so when they say "he" or "him" or "boy" they're usually referring to their cat, so their cat has started responding whenever somebody says "boy" or "he" by running up and looking at them expectantly. so he's a cat that has pronouns

i been loosely following this one actually. Pine martens have been considered extinct in england for a long time. In July 2015, the first confirmed sighting of a pine marten in England for over a century was recorded. A few years ago they made some laws protecting pine martins which had been exterminated as pests. The result has been a stabilization of the native red squirrel population (a pine martin prey staple) which was becoming endangered due to the invasive grey squirrel, which the pine marten has been hunting down to manageable numbers, allowing red squirrel numbers to rebound.

This is a pine marten, which is a semi-arboreal weasel (meaning it spends like half it’s life in trees) They can skitter around tree trunks, even leaping from tree to tree, and they eat everything from hawk eggs to mushrooms to rabbits.

i will never forgive the internet for what it did to the word “mansplain”

mansplaining is a very specific phenomonon wherein a man who is NOT qualified to talk about a topic assumed he knows better than other people who ARE qualified, purely because of sexism.

sharing a fun fact you learned isnt mansplaining. infodumping isnt mansplaining. adding your relevant personal experience to a discussion isn’t mansplaining, (as long as you remain respectful of others’ experiences as well, but that’s always true). correcting someone who is objectively wrong and spreading misinformation REALLY isn’t mansplaining.

Johnson’s comments are the most batshit crazy yet.  Could he be suffering from brain damage?  Seriously just read this statement he made on Sept. 11th:

today i discovered that not everyone calls kids in pigtails "dual aft pigtails" bc thats what my DAD called them. hes a pilot. dual aft refers to a type of tail on an airplane to cut resistance. whenever he did my hair in pigtails as a kid he would put them at the right angle so they qualified as dual aft. what a fuckign nerd
