How do you block tags?
Unfortunately there’s no way to block them on tumblr itself, you’ll need to get a 3rd party add-on in order to do it and this will depend on whether or not you’re using a PC/laptop or on mobile.
If you’re on PC the best thing to do is download xkit HERE. Then once you have it installed on your browser of choice you’ll see this little icon:
Click that and then go to the bottom where you’ll see “Get Extensions” and search for “blacklist”.
You’ll want to click and install it to xkit. Once you’ve done that it will appear in the sidebar of xkit when you click on it. Then all you do is scroll down, click “add word” and add the word you want! This will block all posts with that word in them, giving you a little prompt if you’d like to view them at your own discretion.
Hopefully this is what you were looking for. If you were looking for a mobile way to do this then unfortunately I can only suggest searching your phones app store for xkit and doing something similar. If you were looking for something other than a blacklist I’m not sure if I can offer any advice, because this is the only way I know how to block certain words/tags.
