They tried it with Lex and Scar in the novel the tension was palpable.
Fun Fact:  The crew and cast’s headcannon was that Scar and Lex had a thing for each other. The scene in which Lex kills Sebastian and Scar looks at her as she walks away, they often joked that he was checking her out.
