I use a collection of set photos, movie screencaps, images released from magazines etc etc whatever I can get the highest resolution pulled from is where I put all my main focus into and that’s generally where I start! Do you always cut out the caps yourself every time or do you re-use some? I was wondering if it’s ok to reuse some caps that I already cut out on different graphics
I do both! If I feel like I can’t find the right image w/ no background I just use the full screencap itself I cut it out! Example would def be the Valkyrie graphic I made just a short while ago! Honestly friend, you do what you think looks best. I reuse the same cut out images soooo many times, sometimes I feel like I gotta switch it up because I don’t want my content to seem repetitive!
Your edits are beautiful and i’m pretty sure you answered 3578 questions about how you make them or how you get inspiration, but i also wonder how you get most of your quotes that go with the pictures? Are they things you look up or things you come up with yourself or most of them you know from songs and books you already read? Like, you don’t go out of your way looking for quotes for an image you have in your mind? Or what if you want to create something but you don’t know what to write?
Thanks friend! UHHH honestly, sometimes I look up inspiring quotes. Sometimes if I’m listening to a certain song that is just hitting a mood right on I’ll use the lyrics. I do definitely go out of my way to find the right quote should I be looking for one, and I do use credit too! I do lowkey right fanfics into my work if the text is small enough tho 😊 only bc i’m scared to actually post written work. ya feel? Back to topic tho! I follow some quote blogs and I’m always listening to certain youtube channels that have pretty music that I can relate projects to and use lyrics wise! Or something I just make stuff up on the fly if I can’t find what I’m looking for! Thanks for askin though, that was fun to kind of pick around at my style in attempts to explain myself!
