george’s character (emphasis on character) in the context of the smp is so fascinating. i know everyone memes to death how he sleeps through all the major plot points - but could you imagine what that would be like in-universe?
he’s the righthand man and lover of one of the most fearsome, powerful men on the server, the righthand man to the same man who threatened an entire nation. when he’s told he’ll inherit a nation, gifted to him by his best friend, he shrugs. he impassively watches as his former friends and enemies slaughter each other with a bored look in his eye, he’s ambivalent when Dream changes sides, he doesn’t bat an eye when the self-proclaimed blood god joins the rebels. when the sixteen year old elected president is murdered and the former exile turned pyromaniac is threatening to level an entire city, he doesn’t even have the decency watch. George wasn’t playing the fiddle as manberg burned, he couldn’t even bother to be there for it. so many misconstrue him as being too afraid, they see him as Dream’s puppet, when in reality, he just couldn’t care less.
maybe George’s god complex is even worse than Dream’s, because at least Dream wants to join in on the carnage, he wants to be a central character in the history, but George doesn’t even see it as worth his time. it’s just all so painfully below him.
in a way, his apathy to the events of the smp is simultaneously hilarious and also… oddly threatening in-universe?
Why do stories need to have plots and characters and descriptions?
Can’t I just ramble on about the fake history of fictional nations and cities for 50,000 words?
My better judgement

Make it a fake History book, or a documentary-style thing, à la The Templin Institute.

Me as a writer: I feel like I’m repeating myself, I’ve already used that theme, I’ve already written that kink, that other character uses that speech pattern so this one in another fandom can’t, I feel like I’m writing predictable things, is this different enough from that other thing I wrote, are people filling out bingo cards by my work? :sobbing:

We’ve been very excited to show this design off for awhile now from the newest Mystery Skulls Animated music video! This big scary boy goes by the name Murder Mystery. We had some wonderful design help from the lovely artist @nelnal382 who collaborated with our crew to help design this guy. Hope you enjoyed seeing him as a surprise at the end of the video!
