somehow, over the course of 4 years I built this little microblog into something intimate and engaging. i built a career as a writer. and the more i got paid to write, the less i wrote here. in the before time, there were no real teens or sub cultures on this platform-- they were all too busy inventing vaping and the next generation of the choking game. the conversations were slower and different.
