You still have to experience waking up on a Sunday and rolling over to see the love of your life snoring like an idiot, and I hope it fills your heart with overwhelming love. I hope that person knows you. And I mean really knows you. Knows your flaws, your scars, inside and out, and loves you regardless. But mostly, I hope you find it in you to love them back. Darling, sometimes you have to let your walls down. You still have to experience all the joys that life will bring you. You still have to make it to that day where you'll be old and reminiscing on your life, and you'll realise you made it. You'll forget about all the bad stuff that happened because the good was just so much more overpowering. You will remember the first kiss, the first words, the graduation, the scent of your childhood home. Not the high school drama or that one time you failed a test.
