So here's what I'm thinking, guys.

It's kind of driving me bananas that I can't send asks as Enkil (since this account is attached to the-immortal-khayman) and that I can't follow people as Enkil.

I might delete this blog and remake it so that I can follow all of you wonderful people properly.

Thoughts?

What doesn’t kill me—-                                                                       has made a powerful enemy.

Why do you keep trying to sleep with Gabrielle? Don't you know she's a bitch?

Do you know who I was married to?

Besides. Gabrielle is beautiful. And a mother.

Gabrielle glared at him. “You say this? You, who have never had children? You, who are a man?” She fought back the urge to strike out at him. “Do not speak to me of love. Do not speak to me of children when you do not understand the nature of them. Do not speak to me of what you cannot know.

"Just because your husband was a horrible father, does not mean that men do not have an inkling of what it would mean to serve that role successfully." Enkil had to try so hard not to growl at her. "Do you think I'm an idiot? Do you not think I was surrounded by children constantly in our palace? We had servants that I watched fall in love and reproduce with, while Akasha and I tried so hard... And I watched a part of her die every time they bore another child that we'd quickly learn we could never have."

"Do not speak to me of children when you do not understand the privilege they bring. And do not speak to me of the pain that you cannot know."

"Claudia. Come." (thepharaoh-enkil)

A smirk slipped onto her lips at the sound of his words. She turned and went to him as he asked but held a playful look upon her face. “Enkil, is that a way to woo a girl. Couldn’t I get more then two words…?”

"It seems we have that in common chérie." Claudia nuzzled up beside him. She nuzzled his cheek and clung to his side.

"Know this, my Daughter." Enkil murmured, kissing her curly hair. "No matter what happens - should you leave me, for whatever reason - you always have a home to come to. I am not one to hold a grudge. I promise, I'll understand."

"I would recite the dictionary for you, my dear." Enkil chuckled lowly, patting the spot on his bed next to him. "Come. I’m feeling weak today."

Claudia continued to smirk playfully as she slowly slipped onto his bed and crawled toward him. “How can I help? I’m not sure if it will do much but you could feed from me mon cher..” She slipped to rest beside him as she slipped her arm over her chest and gazed at him with admiration.

"No, never." The Pharaoh murmured, wrapping an arm around the small woman to hold her close. "Just your company in itself gives me strength, my dear. I must confess that I think I may have a slight fear of being alone."

Gabrielle smiled coldly. “Ah. I see I am not so attractive when you see beyond my visage and my mortal role.”

"How could you not love something that you created so incredibly?" Enkil muttered, his accent a bit thicker as he struggled to hide his shock.

What would you have done if you had conceived a child with Mekare when you raped her?

Do you want me to be honest?

If that should have happened when I was a mortal, as cruel as it sounds, the child would have probably been killed. On my orders.

Now, as I look back and ponder the potential situation, I almost wish that it had happened. Not because I want a child to die, of course. But because it would have meant that it was possible for me to become a father of my own family.

And it would have made Mekare miserable, which would have made me very happy.

EDIT: Enkil didn't rape Mekare. But if it had happened, that would have been his answer to the question.

Don't worry, anon. I thought he raped Mekare too.

"Were you aware that this is within our capabilities, Maharet?" Enkil asked as she came in the room, standing on the ceiling like a bat.

Her eyes followed the voice to see Enkil hanging upside down. A slight gasp fell from her lips as it startled her slightly. Cursing in her ancient tongue she looks up at him and she laughs a bit. “Yes. I did know that. I see you’re exploring your powers a little more?” She set the books she was carrying down and then extended her hand upwards to him. “Why don’t you come down? We’ll see what you can do.”

"I was far too busy to explore this in Kemet." Enkil muttered, staring at the floor as if he were figuring out how to get down. He settled upon how he knew how to fly - imagine yourself there - and found his head going through the floor first.

Now he looked a bit like an ostrich, tugging his skull out from the wood floor. He hadn’t meant to do that…

Maharet tried to stifle a laugh and was mostly successful except the chuckle that did manage to leave her. Her shoulders shook with that restrained laughter as she knelt down to help him up. “Are you alright?”

He was trying his best to pretend that the fallen Pharaoh hadn't just gone crashing through the floor. Though he did stare at the hole that his head left, trying to use his mind to make the broken pieces fit together once again. "I can fix it." He muttered in the ancient tongue, his entire focus on the task at hand.

"I wouldn’t as you if I thought there was any other way." Enkil grumbled, running his hand through his plaited hair. "Lestat’s absence is upsetting Maharet. And I promised to try and help her as I can. This has nothing to do with you and I. This is for your son."

She paused, irritated. “Explain it again.” She narrowed her eyes at him—she saw his eyes skate over her breasts, even in a moment such as this. “Use detail this time.”

"Why do you need detail?" Enkil nearly growled, eyes narrowing at her. "Your son. Your child. He needs you. What part of that is confusing for you?"
