I wrote these information/explanations of copyright, and recently about AI art for my future students (I currently teach game assets in game development) Reading a lot of recent online arguments on these subject, I realised a lot of people didn’t understand the context for a lot of these situations.
I’m not a lawyer so I can’t explain on what every scenario, as what is morally just =/= legally just either.
I hope this will explain some things, what to watch out for and how to protect your own work.
