So I'm becoming anime trash again. I am reconnecting with my weeb roots. My Hero Academia is my favorite anime now and is my new obsession.

That being said I had a ton of fun drawing this. It's one of the more ambitious things I've drawn in awhile and I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I'm not super comfortable with drastic angles, so this was practice for that specifically!

I recently talked a bit on a stream about how I watched Gundam SEED when I was younger... And how Athrun was one of my first animu husbandos! .... Aaaand how he's gonna share a voice actor with Dimitri from Fire Emblem when the new remake comes out. I'm still shook about it so I went ahead and drew him for the funsies.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCAHJIN. I love her so much! Drew her beautiful FFXIV Viera for the occasion! I had pretty limited references so I had to kinda guesstimate on a few things, but hopefully it was accurate enough!

SO... The last picture I posted of Roku was a bit over a year old, but I was feeling super inspired and motivated because everyone's reactions to him was so positive! So I thought I'd update it and draw a current version of him-- same design, but I feel like I've learned a bit in the last year. Was hoping to do him justice with a new cheery picture :) A handful of people were curious about him, so I might as well tack on some extra tidbits about his personality! Roku comes off as kind of a happy-go-lucky idiot. He doesn't mind making a fool out of himself if it means making people happy, and he can be pretty naive at the same time. He's honest to a fault and has a strong sense of justice, and will go very far out of his way to help the people he comes across. He's... Pretty much a bum, but he has lofty dreams of being a hero, and that tends to get him trouble.

So uh... I drew this over a year ago and never actually uploaded it?? I just found this buried in my files and I feel bad that it never saw the light of day lmao... But this is Roku, mY BaBy bOi!!!... No seriously he's one of my OCs, and probably my favorite one at the moment. I'd love to do something with him story-wise, but uh.. Time. And motivation. Hahaha, maybe someday.

Had a lot of fun with this, too! I'm experimenting a ton with different techniques again and this is the first drawing I've recorded for a Let's Draw video in awhile.

Drew one of Jon’s characters for his birthday! Happy birthday dude! I honestly just love her so much??? She was so fun to draw and I was really into her design. A lot of experimenting went into the techniques I used, too, so I learned a lot while drawing her!

I started doing this because of the Ashe joke, but I legitimately am very happy with how this came out. I've always had a thing for those scenes where like, you find out that a character has a crap ton of battle scars under their clothes... And what do you know, Dimitri feels absolutely perfect for that trope, so here we are now hahaha. I enjoyed working on this a lot and I feel like I learned a buuuunch from all the experimentation I did, this piece actually changed how I do some of my shading in general and I'm really pleased with it. Hoping to incorporate the things I learned into my future pieces!

Happy Halloween everyone! This was pretty spur of the moment, but I had the idea and wanted to just go for it. This is Chibi Masae's Halloween costume!

WELP. As a quick explanation, I threw the shirtless sketch up on Twitter for the lols and it exploded into a huge thing... Then after the strong reaction I felt obligated to finish it and actually include the shirtless version. SO HERE YOU GO, Ashe shirtless and also clothed (as originally intended) enjoy.

Drew a Lalafell from Final Fantasy. They're honestly the cutest??? I only meant to sketch it out but I ended up really liking it, so I finished it hahaha.

I drew a Pikachu for the funsies! Doing a Hey You, Pikachu series on YouTube kinda put me in the mood. Did a bit of experimenting with this one and I like some of the changes, but I'll have to fiddle with it a bit more!

Awhile back, Adriana commissioned me to draw Kirby for her Lifelight cover! I’m beyond honored that she wanted me to draw the art of one of her videos, and even moreso that it was Lifelight that she wanted my art for. This was fun to draw for a variety of reasons, but it was mostly just great to work with her on it.

I felt like practicing a little and I realized it'd been a long time since I've drawn Link... Plus I've never drawn Breath of the Wild Link! So I figured I'd give it a go. Pretty happy with how it turned out, tried doing this without concrete lines, I'd like to hone this style of drawing a bit more.
