Surgeries and operations are being cancelled on the day of the queen’s funeral. These patients will have been on a waiting list for months if not years.
Everyone should be absolutely seething with rage.
With the irony that the queen herself had access to the very best healthcare, but common disabled people will never be afforded that same dignity. This farce will cause deaths. This will kill people. This will permanently disable others, or worsen existing disability.
My heart breaks for these people. These are the people I am mourning.
You know what? I'm not done. Because we've had almost three years of this treatment.

Disabled people have known their whole lives that their healthcare and lives will be dropped at the earliest inconvenience to nondisabled people. Since the pandemic, nondisabled people have got really comfy with saying it aloud.
Our treatments and therapies were put on hold to save you all. We were sidelined over and over again to save the lives of nondisabled people from a virus they couldn't even be arsed to save themselves from. Nondisabled people couldn't even wear a piece of cloth over their damn faces while we died.
We already know our lives are worth less. But for our lives to be worth less than this pantomime is a new low. The knock-on effect of this decision will kill people. CANCER PATIENTS are getting their treatments cancelled. For what?? For what reason? Because a bunch of people collectively projected their granny onto the queen? Because British Empire nostalgia is more important to people? Is that worth our healthcare being taken away again after more than two years of this treatment?
Actually the worst thing in the world is alphabetical lists that put titles begining with "The" under the "T" section
