So. I’ve made the decision that I will be moving blogs. This one has been left to get stale for too long, and if I want to come back to writing the Being — which I do — I need a fresh start.
I’m still setting up the new blog, but the URL is the same as this one was (ignatiius), and you’re more than free to follow.

Hey there friend; I was hoping that we could RP someday, but I am also very forgetful, and I was wondering if you would be posting a link to the new blog? Just in case I'm not on this blog when you do make the switch

Of course! I'll publish this ask, so other people can see as well. The new blog is here.

Such wrathful beings are difficult to please. The feat rivals tiptoeing around a sleeping lion, fearful of the beast awakening from his slumber. Fingers splayed, his hand raises and lowers as though this could possibly calm the other.
{ єχρℓσяєя }×× A fool you call me                  and perhaps, I am. Would you indulge me                  in the tale of your maker? Surely, there is                  something I can offer you.❞

The Being's shriveled black lips pulled up over his teeth in an ugly, disbelieving sneer. This man, to his mind, would be neither willing nor capable of offering anything that the Being might desire; but for the sake of humouring the man, and perhaps for the sake of having some brief company, however awkward and unpleasant, the Being would tell the tale. Splaying a withered hand wide and waving it in the direction of a chair, the creature said, "Very well, man; sit, then, and let me tell."

Headcanon: If the Being discovered the internet,at first he'd have his feelings hurt once again and others would be confused by his formal wording (and he would be confused by all those strange abbreviations),but then he'd finally be able to connect with others.

I've thought about this a lot, actually! I think he'd love the internet. It'd be a way for him to communicate with people without having to show his face, which would be a huge comfort.

She had always lived her best life in dreams. She knew no greater pleasure than that moment of passage into the other place, when her limbs grew warm and heavy and the sparkling darkness behind her lids became ordered and doors opened; when conscious thought grew owl's wings and talons and became other than conscious.

Malcolm sucks the air in through clenched teeth and apologizes for his fault. Admittedly, he knew little about the Frankenstein legacy, but he was determined to keep the good doctor safe — out of harm’s way in a petty attempt to atone for losing Peter. The explorer braced himself, hands lingering in the air as a simple gesture of submission. A rare feat for the vainglorious fellow.
{ єχρℓσяєя }×× Then, it appears             your tale of revenge has drawn to a             close. This Frankenstein is a doctor,             a young man who wishes to improve             science. His cause is genuine, I             assure you. He is devoted to his craft,             diligent and intelligent, but I needn’t             boast.❞

"To improve science!" the Being cried, a bitter, hysterical laugh snorting out from his flaring nostrils. "A genuine cause! O, man -- what a fool thou art! Did my maker not devote himself to the very same endeavours? Was he not noble and pure of heart, labouring only to better life for mankind? He was diligent, man, and intelligent -- readily shall I recognize that! -- but his talents cannot redeem his actions. Do not speak to me of this new Frankenstein and what virtues he possesses! Mark thee well: he will lead himself to ruin."

"And yet, may I even be counted among the ranks of mankind? I am a beast, a wretched daemon; it is unfair to name me man."

Ah—   see?  Look   at   that!   It   really   works!” He   threw  his   arms in   the  air   and   crowed, lunging  into   the   grass   in   a  cartwheel,  not caring   for  the  fact  that  he  was  flashing  his bare feet, still in his nightclothes.  A  successful experiment  was  something  to  be  celebrated, after all, and he had no intentions of attempting to   disguise  his  satisfaction  with  the   results. "Now, I will have  to  find   a  way  to  clean  the blade without ruining  the  thing,  but  it  works! Well,  aren’t   I   clever?!   I   feel   very   clever!”

"It is ingenious!" the Being cried, removing his hands from the bar so that he could clap them together. He very rarely allowed himself to smile -- he was aware that it only twisted his features into something even more hideous than normal -- but at present, he was almost beaming. "How perfect this place will look, when all the grass has been uniformly trimmed -- how wonderfully clever you are!"
