||Hope |They/Them| Gemini| (◡‿◡✿)| (ʘ‿ʘ✿)|| My birthday is June 4th. Please enjoy my fandom blog. I like video games, cartoons, animes, memes and I love animals. "Little Hopie Things" is my post tag.

A poem about letting go of bad thoughts.

Hattifateners are these little creatures from the Moomins that are small, travel in odd numbered groups, cant speak and arent aggressive at all. But they become electrified during storms (or when first hatching) and can electrocute you, but the only thing they really care about is their Barometer, which tells them when storms are coming.

while I was doing a Mindfulness, “letting go” exercise which you can find here: https://www.dis-sos.com/leaves-in-the-river/

I was reminded of these Creatures since I’m a big fan of the Moomins and I wrote this poem

September 22 2020 - A Hillsboro man convicted to 6 months for drug possession managed to make his escape from the courthouse. A cop trying to stop him gave himself broken ribs and a concussion and had to be taken to hospital, while the hero of our story managed a clean getaway and is still on the loose. [video]

so I got new hearing aids that can sync with bluetooth devices which is great because I can enjoy music again but like all bluetooth it’s kind of buggy and sometimes I’m in the middle of a conversation when suddenly one of my devices connects so what I’m saying is the PS5 is very real and it can speak to me from inside my brain

Once during a dinner out my mom kept asking us “what’s that sound” and we couldn’t hear anything, only later did we figure out my sister had connected her phone to my moms Bluetooth hearing aids and was intermittently playing farm animal noises.

So my latest obsession is apparently the official twitter for the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, which is about half recall announcements for various shitty amazon products and half…..memes? pseudo-memes?? works of surrealist art??? what do i even call these

Whoever made these is either a random middle-aged government worker who’s spent enough time with Young Internet People to be at least 60% sure what a meme is or a Gen Z artistic genius and i can’t decide which

I used to follow the official Furby page on Facebook because it was also exactly like this

my dad, trying to explain the concept of money to me: say you have a sandwich, and i need your sandwich. but i don't have anything to give you. you're not just gonna give it to me.

me: i would just give it to you.

in elementary school we had. basically an immersive economics lesson that was "playing City," with different jobs and businesses; it was mostly semi-free time for socializing and selling/buying toys and snacks from each other. one of the lessons we were supposed to learn was the importance of paying a small amount of money into health and/or business insurance, because you had a chance of being hit with the Daily Disaster and a huge bill.

anyway, some kid who didn't buy insurance got hit with a "medical bill" early on, so he was supposed to be bankrupt and have to sit the rest of the game out. the 8 year olds were not having it and spontaneously invented crowdfunding so he could keep playing with everyone else.

kids who don't 'get it' are right, actually

at one point in this game from ace attorney investigations 2, which doesn't have an official english translation. over the course of the game she makes constant references to the "goddess of law" which i thought was honestly metaphorical until at one point another character says to her "i may not worship your goddess, but-"

at one point in this game this statue of lady justice is explicitly referred to as a statue of the goddess of law. pair that with justine's rather catholic outfit here.

there's also a special lawyer high school named 'themis' after the greek titan who is one of the original deities to be depicted with the sword and scales in this fashion. so it stands to objective reason that there is active religious worship of law deities among lawyer circles within the ace attorney universe.

Ace Attorney Heritage Post

Y'know what's hilarious is that I'll 100% buy the trilobite divergence somehow butterfly effecting the existence of human ghosts, but I still cock an eyebrow at the "Goddess of Law."

If you ask me, there's more than enough evidence that Justice Courtney is just A Fucking Weirdo™ who spends all her time LARPing some kind of DND cleric that worships her own OC as a god. Nobody else ever talks about this goddess and the only time that Miles directly addresses it it's because she's having an existential crisis and he's nice enough to LARP with her for five sentences and play along just enough to calm her down.

Every other character just talks around it the way you do when one of your co-workers is REALLY into like, chemtrails or some shit.

This is the best ad I've gotten since they added the Tumblr Blaze feature thank you tumblr user plaguerightsactivist for using this new feature correctly
