Found like this. Rat snakes (Pantherophis sp.) are known to den with Eastern Copperheads (Agkistrodon contortrix) but it is still cool too see the rat snake on top of the copperhead. Total of 4 different Copperheads today :)

I was ecstatic to find this Eastern Milk Snake (Lampropeltis t. triangulum) today. I stood next to it for about 3 minutes without noticing it until I scared it and it made noise. Very pretty one for NY.
