Welcome to the land of the dead. And nerdy. More the latter than the former.

remember, a hard hat and a hi-vis vest, and a friend with their own hard hat, hi-vis vest and a clipboard, and you can get away with all sorts of things

just remember that if anyone asks, act irritated that you were called in on your day off because the guy who was supposed to do it fell sick, then catch yourself and say “anyway, no time to chat, i got a quota to meet” before grumbling about how you should have listened to your mother.

That bar is to prevent unhoused people from sleeping there, for anyone who doesn’t understand why we’re removing it

this is like the eighth time I’ve seen this post and it took me until now to realize they mean recycle the metal bar and use the money you get for it to buy food, not that you should eat the bar 🤦‍♂️

Eat the bar to assert dominance

Do you really think Pokémon is dead

Commercially? Absolutely not, it’s making more money than it has in like 20 years thanks to the pandemic TCG boom and the Go fad reigniting interest.

Creatively? Yeah, kinda. It’s fallen into this cycle where the entire franchise (games, merch, anime, TCG) is meticulously scheduled years in advance and nothing can ever be delayed without wrecking the rest of the Multimedia Synergy. And the brand loyalty towards the Pokémon IP is so strong that even if the games are unfinished, there isn’t really any negative effect on their commercial performance. So we’re stuck in this cycle where no matter how many good ideas and passionate people Game Freak has, they’ll never be able to do anything more than “good ideas half-baked” because it’s literally more important to have new Pokémon games on the shelf at planned intervals than it is for those games to be any good. And if they keep going with the two-releases-a-year format, I could totally see people getting franchise fatigue like what happened with Star Wars in the late 2010s or Guitar Hero in the late 00s.

have you ever seen a fictional male character that is obviously designed by straight people to be ugly as possible but you KNOW would be extremely popular with gay men???

Fictional male character: “yeah, i’m not very attractive because i’m big and hairy and i sweat alot haha”

Me and every autistic gay man in the distance:

YOU KNOW WHAT NAH YOUR RIGHT!

what is it about pussy that needs ice. like it's a match made in heaven. even if it was in the fridge before i still pour it over ice

so i meant, and fully thought i typed, pepsi

pussy was invented after electric refrigeration unlike cock which was originally meant to be enjoyed at room temperature

Squidward only ever makes artwork based off his visage, it's all very surface level and lacks any emotional depth

Squidward should start making artwork based on how Squidward feels and not how Squidward looks yknow? I feel like he's experimented plenty with self portraits, but none of them really say much about Squidward as a person yknow

got drunk last night and got really emotional over Squidward's potential and how much he holds himself back

“Cinema is dead, actually.”

Seeing that movie in top spots on multiple lists has left me feeling I just got punched in the solar plexus. Like I just lost a fight.
