i envy people with good relationships with their moms. like i would love to be able to talk to my mom about things and not feel criticized. i want to be able to tell her about something i like and not have every single mistake i’ve ever made brought up just to bring me down. when did it become normal for mother’s to bring their children down just because they are ashamed of themselves and hate their lives?
