feels like a good time to remind everyone that mental age don't real. that disabled 30 year old doesn't have the 'mental age' of a 4 year old. she has the mental age of a 30 year old because that's how old she is.

whatever her cognitive capacities, she has 30 years of life experience. you may notice that's 26 more years than a 4 year old, making them in fact quite different. also they are different because she is an adult and a 4 year old is a very small child. hope this helps
